He was such an odd guy, because he's kinda of like "whats happening fellow youths?" on one hand, and on the other, he actually likes the stuff and the people in the industry. A true legend, I will always have a soft spot for him.

It's funny cause I feel like the "fellow youths" thing is often used for people who are sort of "faking it" to get people's. However, Reggie seemed genuinely interested and wanted to connect with his audience, but needed to keep a serious side of him so that he could still do his job the best that he could.

I really hope Doug Bowser builds a persona at Nintendo. We loved Reggie because he was fun and sincere. He wasn't afraid to get goofy or make time for skits. He regularly demonstrated how he cared about the fans. While I'm not expecting Doug to be Reggie v2, I am at least hoping that he will try and build a persona. All he needs to do is show us that he likes to have a little fun as Reggie did.

The one thing I hope Bowser doesn't do is make memes for the sake of making memes. Forcing jokes down somebody's throat isn't fun and while Reggie may have done things that are meme-y, he never acted like he was funny while doing so. The community built his meme and it's just different to some old guy running on stage saying "HEY WASSUP FELLOW YOUNGINS HOWYADOIN ITS ME YA BOY xXxBowser69xXx" We'll have to see what he does. I assume he'll make a few jokes here and there (tying up Mario/Luigi), but he probably won't be acting as much in the center as Reggie did.

Reggie had two jobs: *1. President Of Nintendo (America)* *2. Mayor of Animal Crossing: New Leaf on the 3DS* He chose to leave the first for the betterment of the other. But as one of the 3 remaining people who still play Animal Crossing on the 3DS, I am happy for his decision. Because I finally have someone try out the online mode for this game with!

And you got the 4th member of the fantastic 4. Masahiro Sakurai, without he's influence, no Kirby and no Super Smash Bros. Kirby itself is now a well beloved household name for Nintendo, and Super Smash alone is in it's own league. Wether you view Sakurai as a Nintendo Legend or not, he's is all over Nintendo.

A wonderful video and tribute to a wonderful leader and icon. As a 20-year old whose gaming life started with the DS and Wii, Reggie was there from the moment I got more involved in the online Nintendo world, and I have so many fond memories of watching presentations and videos with him in them. Who can forget the Reggie-Iwata fight that revealed the Miis for Smash? I jumped and screamed at that. And during every single presentation I watched with a very close friend and fellow Nintendo-fan, we would literally scream out his name whenever he appeared on screen. I will miss him, but I am very thankful for the amazing work he's done for Nintendo and the industry as a whole. Also, DYKG, I really love these videos. I think it's really lovely to see tribute videos to the lives and careers of industry figures. Keep up the great work with them!

I can't think of any other CEO of a huge multinational company that could cause such an outcry of sadness and respect when they retired. Big shoes to fill to replace him, but I have warmed to Doug Bowser from what I've seen of him - he's not Reggie, but that's sort of the whole point. The corporate world in general could use more people like The Reginator.

Thank you to the Reginator! He's been a beacon of inspiration and showed how to form a bond with customers that is intimate and passionate. For me he was one of the faces of Nintendo and got me excited whenever he set foot on a stage. Great video DYKG!!
