that does not excuse her for all the evil she did. raping robin and rumple (we can only assume from her obsessiveness). this one thing does not erase everything from very little work she has done. Regina has worked hard to redeem herself. Zelena was given a free pass
Am I the only one who thinks that this show’s villains are much better even when they got their redemption arc. They never act stupid from the beginning. Because they still know ho to think as a villains
Which no one believed about Zelena and still tried to rip her heart out about not believing that her daughter would better off with her and not Robin. They never even gave her the chance to be a mother to her daughter until Robin died which was selfish
- Was willing to give up her child for her protection - She killed Hades to save Regina - Tried to help Belle with the Rumple situation - Gave up her magic to save everyone
Siblings. You've gotta love them. They go through everything together, act like they hate each other, fight, but in the end they are also there for each other. They boost each up. Encourage each other. And wether we like it or not we cry together, laugh together, and we've kept secrets. Siblings will always be there. No matter what. We've never been stronger.
What if Glinda and the other witches of Oz gave Zelena a second chance to join their sisterhood? That would be awesome. Zelena would get light magic with the pendant.
@@rockerdude8289With Glinda trapped in the enchanted forest and the fate of the other witch sisters unknown, it would have taken a lot for that to happen. Also, with the series now over, it is already known what happened with her magic…
Since no one is gonna say it, I will. Zelena did what any parent would do, she thought Robin was in trouble so she reacted, yes it was foolish and arrogant, but honestly, can anyone tell they wouldn't have done the exact same thing in her position?
Yep it's the same thing Fiona did, when she went against what Tiger Lily told her about baby Rumple's destiny. Fiona was willing to kill Tiger Lily in order to keep her son from his destiny and fate. She was scared and desperate so she acted on what she thought was best for him and her...
@@LeVonngaKiarawhat was best is that she needed to be a part of his life as the Saviour, not trying to keep him from the dangerous world instead of preparing him for it
Zelena deserved better, she may have made some bad choices but she didn’t deserve all the things she went through. She made a sacrifice nobody else would. Gave up her magic
zelena > regina. zelena has really redeemed herself during season 5 but in the next one regina just shitted on it by blaming her for robin hood's death >:( it wasn't her fault! at least now she knows she truly is a hero. she killed hades for her to prove she's better.
Sub Scorpion#9 zelena was jealous so she slept with robin and had his baby that is rape and she was jealous of what being forced to Mary a man who slept with their mom please
regina was not so different when It came to snow as she made her life a living hell like zelena did to regina. Everyone forgave regina, it was so but they did after some time. Zelena was the same but then when Robin Hood died, she still blamed her even though she didn't know hades would still be a villain. regina was mad because of that and halted any forgiveness to her because of it. but then again, all of this fighting between these two stems all the way back to Cora :(
Sub Scorpion#9 i agree. People tend to think Regina is better than Zelena because she is trying to redeem herself. But to be fair, Zelena is doing just the same, she just started later than Regina. And don't get me started on her rape. If we're counting sins here, Regina killed an entire village and many others out of impulse. Murder and Rape are both just as evil. Regina even killed Snow's daddy and many of her denizens.
This scene shows that Zelena does indeed have something that she values much more than her power. And sometimes, in order to attain something, and I mean it in the noblest sense, you need to make a sacrifice. You don't get to not make a sacrifice. The things worth having often require a sacrifice. And then the question becomes whether you made the right sacrifice. Zelena lost her powers here. But in exchange, she got family and a host of new friends and allies, amongst other things.
I never really thought Zelena is going to do this! not that I was much surprised cause I do remember how much she was abused only for having magic in her younger years and if they actually mentioned that part, it would make more sense to me if part of her was still wanting to get rid of magic and be normal. but here, all she did seemed more like cleaning up a mess all over again, like if she hadn't tricked by Black Fairy, she wouldn't really needed to loose her magic and that getting tricked part was also another one of her obsession of proving herself to everyone, which I still think was unneeded! in entire S5, she by still being a villain and not doing one good thing and only being Regina's naive little damsel in distress, was able to join the band and in this episode suddenly she wasn't part of them? I know Regina had been ignoring her lately and I would be ok if she was just heartbroken over Regina's treatment but still same story of proving herself for a crowd that already was accepting her...hah this show just throwing away potentials is making my blood boil!
She saved her life twice actually she sacrificed the man she loved to save regina, her sister, and now she is saving everyone by sacrificing her own magic.
Love Zelena and she did the right thing. She just wanted love and everyone left her on the outside and her mom was awful to her so that's why she became a villain cause she never really had real love.
@@soixsantes she spent the whole season treating her sister like dirt worse than dirt she hasn't even taken responsibility for it it just got shoved under the rug
Spoiler... I never umderstood when she got her magic back. Does anyone know? As some episodes later she is able to work the magic hat out and it is only possible with magic, also on the 7th season she uses magic.
With the magic hat, it was able to be used in proximity as it was a different one to the original so it didn't need an action of magic just proximity to it. When you see the scene the hat is put down and then turns on it's own. As for season 7, when we see Zelena again she says at the end let me grab my wand meaning she doesn't have her magic, she only has magic via an object but with her being advanced in the art of magic when it came to using it she only needed to hold the wand to use it's magic like a conduit.
