This podcast resonated so much with me! My partner makes a lot more than I do and recently expressed that my financial situation is bothering her. I’m living within my means and nothing has changed in that regard over the past 1.5 years.
Modern woman think they are better woman the more they earn, meaning, once they earn more than the man they think they are better than the man and leave Woman want children, but are extremely confused, so the fill the missing part with a career, they will never be happy without children
Love both of your work Jillian and Connor. 45:03 what is the point of marriage? To me, it signifies the commitment to go through the hard things together. I’ve seen so many single parents that think they are liberated from getting divorced, only to have the harsh reality of their situation make their lives (and may be more importantly, their Kids) harder. Often it’s a lack of self awareness that is a big contributor, which as you mention, is SO important! Thanks for the episode 👏
I work with people that make a lot of money & it seems as though, those who make that kind of money become consumed by it hence the desire to have matched or bigger incomes from a partner. Not everyone is this way BUT even in this video a lot of time was given to that subject & to be polite... I guess I'm for it if that's the way wealthy people think. Your loss. Poor people and those whom have suffered are more evolved in ways that keep and make life beautiful
