You are my new hero!! After just one session of this routine before getting out of bed, I am so much better than I have been in months!! Thank you, thank you for being "one of us", who understands the aches and pains of aging.
Cindy, your videos are great! I am 28 years old and have fibromyalgia and I have a lot of pain in the morning. Will try this tomorrow morning. A lot of exercise videos on youtube are too intense for me, but I think yours are great! Not just for older people, for anyone who can use gentle exercise :)
Thank you for your encouragement and not expecting a stiff over weight body to be able to do things that put me into spasms. I just did this stretch in bed and I got up and was able to walk pretty easy. I am going to go slow and do this everyday and add more of your workouts as the days and weeks go by. Thanks again 😊
im 23 and this is helpful. everyday i woke up with muscle stiffness and i feel like tired to wake up. i takes 1-2 hours for me to get out from bed cs my muscle feel so tired no matter how long i slept. surprisingly after i follow these exercises, my joints give that cracking sounds and i feel way lot better and less stiff. will do this routinely. tq
Cindy, ran across this while searching for your videos. This morning warm up in bed routine is really good. Your videos are really helping me while our Y is closed. Thank you for sharing your routines, your fab knowledge and encouragement. Stay safe and well!
Yes, I have to do these morning stretches every day with the arthritis I have. It gets the blood flowing so I don't start my day all crippled up with stiffness on the way to making my morning coffee. I am thrilled that they are good for you as well. Thank you for your support and good for you keeping moving even with gyms closed so that you can stay healthy and strong.
This excellent video dropped in my email this morning. Since first seeing this when originally released I've been stretching before getting out of bed. Hugely helpful! Watching it again, I realized I've been missing a couple of areas and will add them . Thank you so very much for everything you do to keep us moving! Austin, TX
Love your video stretching like a cat and rolling angles while repeating “with enthusiasm “ “I am getting better and better in every way every day” 10 times is one I love to start the day with also. Thanks again I tell everyone about you.
THANK YOU CANDY ! Good ADVICE ! JUST SO HAPPENS ONE OF MY DAUGHTERS IS MOVING AT THE END OF THIS MONTH TO ORLANDO FLORIDA ! SO I WILL BE ABLE TO VIST HER THERE FOR 3 OR 4 WEEKS ! 2 HEADS OR BETTER THEN ONE LOL THANK YOU AND BE BLESSED ! 😊
68 years young !😘 & Thank U so much ! Question : Do U think Orlando Florida would help my Oscoarthritis in hips & Lower back ! Rather then Midwest city's ? Are is it the excercises that's going to help no matter where a person live ? Just asking your opinion ? Sometimes a person that is experiencing same condition can Enlighten you better then the medical field that don't have the condition ! Hope my question don't make U feel uncomfortable ! Stay Blessed !
Hi Miracle, The good news is yes, exercise will help the arthritis wherever you live. However, the weather affects people's condition differently. My Dad always said he noticed a difference coming from Buffallo, NY to visit us here in the South. I think the only way you would be able to tell would be to visit for about three weeks and see how you feel. Luckily, I haven't had to visit the North recently during the Winter to see if there is a difference so can't speak from personal experience. Keep me posted of your journey.
I always remember Callan Pinkney (spelling) stating that it is important to stretch the body on rising. She said “look at a cat….”. A cat never wakes up and walks, they stretch every muscle first. 👍🏾
