My rake just broke and it's been in my family for forty years. I'm 6 ft 4 and need every inch of that handle to save my back. I'll still repair it using your method and maybe my wife can use it someday if she ever wants to do some yard work LOL.
Is just a bad design with these type of rakes. Even new ones with fiberglass or metal handles eventually become loose. I get it. I take things apart or repair them just to see what makes them work and it feels good to fix something!
Lol…good eye. Actually, that motorcycle hasn’t been ridden for 15 years. I have new tires and it is for sale. 1991 Honda Transalp 14k original miles. It was only sold in the US in 1990, 1991. It has been mothballed for all that time.
