Another unfortunate tale of unlicensed contractors doing poor work and/or accepting money and walking away. This one on Detroit's eastside. www.tonywbuyshouses.com - We buy houses Detroit #badcontractors #investinginDetroit #realestate
On what planet do you remodel a house inside and out, driveway, steps, siding, kitchen and bath all for $40,000. The contractor and whoever hired them belong in a mental hospital.
Lol. Contractors overvaluing their work a small usual. The crews we use charge a third of your rates and do superior work. At twice the speed. Family has built and remodeled for three generations and we now flat refuse to use white "American" labor. Epitome of fat, lazy, and weak. Our Mexican framer crews finish jobs at a fraction of the cost, ahead of schedule, with superior craftsmanship. The Chinese drywall crews do a skim coat on every project as a baseline and don't botch joints and halfass cornerbeads. White American labor is overpriced and TRASH. GTFO with those prices. Go scam another widowed granny. Your labor is trash and worthless like you. 😂🤣
I would love to see the bid proposals the owner got before awarding the contract to the previous “contractor”. I have seen several situations like this in my career. When the proposal is 1/2 of what everyone else says it will cost, you better start asking why!
I think the owner didnt pay them guys, he should of used the money to fix the gouse instead of doing a damn driveway. Crawl before you walk, walk before you run 😂 great video though, very informative. Either way, imo it all beaides a window there, looks like shit imo. As a DIY i could pull together and do better
Geez oh man, I love your videos but I have to wonder about contractors licenses in Detroit. Do people get them or do a lot of people just kinda wing it when finding contractors? Some of the work you’re repairing looks like just regular “Joes” doing it. Like just someone with a Home Depot Tool kit and some time, maybe a Nissan Pickup truck that woke up one morning and said to themselves “today I’m a contractor” not you, but the people that did the work originally.
This one was started by a licensed contractor, but it looks like he outsourced most of the work to "handymen". We are actually close to finishing this one. Looks much, much better now.
