@@ChrizHawk90 Still works, as far as I know. Recently picked up the game on PC after playing it on PS5 almost exclusively for this mod, because first person is by FAR my favourite perspective in all of gaming. So, I hope they completely dropped plans to block mods.
Finally My Soul Is Ready!! A new FPS resident evil experience! from survivor, code veronica, dead aim, re7, re2 remake, re3 remake and now 4 in first person, i think the only one i have yet to playthrough yet is village. with these remakes i do hope capcom doesnt forget resident evil survivor in the long run, with two first person games, would love to have the game remade to be a proper survival horror beyond what the original playstation was capable of. but im pretty sure they dont remember they even made that game. honestly an island of Mr.X has always been horrifying to me.
I absolutely love playing this game with the first person mod. It switches things up and makes me wish we would’ve gotten an official first person mode included with the game 🔥
If they offered this I would consider purchasing RE4. Never understood that a game doesn't offer both options when possible since there are many people disliking 3th person view and vice versa.
A little to close FOV wise but definitely looks cool, I recently installed a first person mod for Ghost Recon Breakpoint and it entirely changes how I play, and connect with the game world. I imagine this would make me picker hard from the anxiety of not knowing what’s behind me at a quick glance.
They should make future games have all 3 options: 1st, 3rd, and 3rd fixed. It will maintain the more modern feel and action and make old crusty, getoffmylawn gamers happy.
The other day I played a bit of re4 and mods still worked, John wick Leon and Ada in original re4 dress, played last night and mods stopped working, does this still work or have they managed to block all mods.
To be honest, this first person mod is much better than the PSVR 2 version, more steady shooting and not feeling dizzy like VR. Hopefully some genius will make a fixed camera mod for RE 4 remake in the future also 😁
Feels more like RE8 than I expected. Ive only started playing TPS games a few years back as I grew up on FPS games so I kinda had a bias early on but for some reason a 1st person RE game doesn't feel Resident Evil-y for (granted I never even played the OG games). On the other hand I played RE8 in FP since TP didnt feel right because the game was obviously built around an FPS experience. No doubt this mod is sick though! I'm just wondering what the following RE8 games will be like in terms of player perspective.
I'd Love to see a full playthrough especially if you install something to go along with it that makes the game darker making everything even scarier like imagine enemies being silent and stuff it would be crazy cool anyway great video as always keep it up : )
Resident Evil remake games have the potential to receive the first-person mode. The problem is the lighting in cutscenes unlike Resident Evil 7 & 8. Also with melee moves in RE4R like round kick. We saw in VR mode that only shooting and parrying are in FP mode, but all cutscenes and melee moves are in TP mode. I hope we receive a proper and official First-person mode ( RE 8 style )
I installed the 1st person and all the mods you suggested for VR , it only plays in flat screen and I'm stuck in his face with the hair in front of the camera , any idea what I'm doing wrong ?
Would love to see a full playthrough, just wish I could get mods like this to play on a console.. but probably a pipe dream (wishing I had a fully functional 2024 PC to actually play this is why)
I install all the required mods. But when I start the game, it stays on a black screen. I install the other 5 mods required for the FPS mode, but it doesn't work. Please help.
the only issue im having is, when aiming, the handgun is pointing straight while the laser is kicked off to the left, as well as the path of the bullet. ive got all the mods that it requires installed. Not necessarily a camera issue, but laser and bullet path issue.
I watch from the beginning till the end and I don't see any counters or reaction buttons, well that's to be expected. Also the gameplay becomes very hard huh, when enemies is attacking from a 360 direction, well it's fun to see it 😏.
It ticks me off that re8 and this game run of the same engine but they don't put a first person option into the remakes like bro I want to have a choice its been proven your engine can do it
@@SPrime345 oh I see what you mean now. Sorry I misunderstood your point😅 I think you your question is if we can implement RE2/3's FP mod into RE4 since they're the same engine. I think technically you could do that but since they updated the engine a bit I think it would've been problematic if we were to do that
