i've watched these videos in the past with the guys, but remember you guys couldn't find some of the others. but i searched up rebecca chambers since i'm planning on cosplaying her character from resident evil 0 for halloween and seen this update! i'm 25 years old (born in 1998), but i've been a fan since i was a young child-about 3-4 years old. the original resident evil series on ps1/ps2 was my first horror game series i'd ever played and it absolutely horrified me (despite the lower quality of the graphics then)! i'm still a huge fan and have continued playing the games over the years. love these videos. :)
I'm glad Linda was found. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that she also has Polish roots. Although I'm not sure if she speaks Polish, it's a nice touch since I'm from Poland myself. For Linda, it was a very smart move to give this a chance, as it’s still a vibrant brand. Some have lost a lot by writing off opportunities because they didn’t believe they could work. Resident Evil has made its mark not only in the gaming industry but in films as well. Although Rebecca's style and appearance have evolved over the years, she remains the original and irreplaceable one, and that’s something that cannot be undone. Participating in these fan projects is really a great way to reinterpret everything, redefine the series, and show that you're still here. After all, what remains is the memory, and being remembered thanks to this series is truly a great way. As for Inez, who played Jill, who knows. The game indeed sexualized her, and not everyone sees that as a positive. Some fans may like it, while the actress might not. It could also be that time has not been kind to her and she could have changed a lot. Time has been very kind to Linda, and honestly, she looks even more beautiful than before, which shows I had good taste in always favoring Rebecca, haha. Regarding Inez, she could certainly make an appearance in an interview, either with her entire team or on her own, to cool down her fans by clarifying that she is not really interested in the series. She might want to dispel some doubts, and who knows, she might find that it wasn't as painful as she thought. Afterwards, she could definitely withdraw if she truly wishes to, but such a gesture would certainly be a nod to her past. Fans would surely understand and come to love the character of Jill even more, knowing that there was a real person behind the scenes with entirely different life plans. Though who knows, maybe that feeling of emptiness should be there too, as it somehow enhances the nostalgia. It all depends on how you look at it. May the light always shine upon Linda and Inez and may fortune be in their favor.
IF we get a REREmake, I'd be totally fine with it. I still want a CV:X remake first, and then RE5, but I won't be picky if it means having more great games.
The mansion hallways are too narrow for this type of play style. Most, if not all, of the environments in REmakes 2-4 were more open which let the camera move. Widen the hallways a bit and it would be better. It’s too claustrophobic now, and not in a good way.
