Leon just can't catch a break in this week's episode of our Resident Evil 4 remake playthrough, as he fights a million insect monsters, two garradors at the same time, and an alien-looking monster that is, Resident Evil 4 wants you to know, legally distinct from the alien from the movie Alien. That whole "boss fight" sequence with the "xenomorph" was so confusing to me and is so out of place... I never clicked any of the freezing buttons, didn-t evne know they were there until Isa w this video lol Just kept going around evading the attacks until the elevator arrived. Just curious why Andy isn't using the new shotgun for the flying enemies - shotguns are perfect for hitting aerial or fast-moving targets. I guess he's just thinking of it in terms of damage output, or maybe for crowds.

Most seasoned RE players just use the pistol as their go to. You get lots of ammo for it and its the fastest fire rate. Veteran RE players tend to conserve ammo for all the other specialty weapons for times when they truly need it. Shotgun is for when your being crowded by 3 or 4 dudes and need some space in a tight spot.

They're pretty weak. It'd be kinda a waste of his shotgun ammo. Usually in Resi games you save the shotgun until you really need it, like for punching through the shield guys.

The Striker is a disappointment. The Riot Gun has a better special giving it 1.5x power. The Striker gives you a max magazine of 42, without filling it.

31:22 You have to kill it. You can't just avoid a boss. You are supposed to shoot it when you freeze it. Like in the original. I would just buy and use a rocket launcher when I froze it. Instant kill.

@@albrown7977 Its not in the spirit of RE games to flee from bosses? Mr. X, Nemesis, Lady D...just to name a few. You can take down Nemesis and Mr X early game if you absolutely unload on them and waste ammo, but most choose to flee.
