Two Resident Evil nerds geeking out, is anything better?! Shame that I never found anyone personally who shares a similar passion for Survival Horror I have, either "it's too scary", or "I don't get it".
Started seeing a girl when I was about 19 first date I asked " So what you into " and she said " Probs shouldn't say this but I love PlayStation especially Resident Evil really love those games!" I was like Holy shit I've really lucked out here spoke about Re then asked " anything else " and she said " Cars I really love cars" swear to god man I was nearly looking for an engagement ring in the restaurant 🤣.
@@4eyeT Yeah not a fan of dissing someone's social skills. Anxiety and depression are things many deal with, and in most situations unless they have someone to give them strength it can bring down any person.
Since this is in the Megamycete and not real life, my guess is "Michael" is actually Ethan or his consciousness trying to guide/help Rose stay safe. He could take on the name Michael bc of the Archangel/Protector reference. Feels like a very Ethan Winters thing to do lol
My biggest ??? about RE4 remake is about the tone. If they choose to drastically dial down the goofy cheesiness, I'd hope they do it for the purpose of upping the horror to a point where we fans automatically forget about the lack of iconic camp moments. RE2 remake did a wonderful job of being scary, but it also had the Mr. X factor going for it. Hopefully REmake4 has some intense surprises up its sleeve. Also you guys should link Suzi's YT channel in the description just for easy access/crosspromo.

I feel like the lab areas where the regenrator and the plagas were developed will be a decommissioned umbrella Europe lab to tie in 3R recon for nemesis, and we may get some awesome trauma/flashbacks of nest

I can see there being more Ashley sections. And at the start, her running through the woods. I figured it would just be an escape attempt intro, before we even play as Leon. But then it could also just be a cut scene.

I'm here hoping that they can use Ashley to tap into that emotional side of Leon's story. Being alongside her for a lot of the game, there's a lot of room for banter and conversation between them to make Ashely more likeable, and help address that trauma for Leon. Those quiet moments can even have some of that OG silliness even in a more serious game.
In the original RE4 we basically know nothing about Saddler beyond him being an outsider to the village, seemingly not Spanish, and potentially having some sort of scientific background. I wonder if they will make him an ex-Umbrella scientist/CEO who in fleeing the company's downfall has set himself up as God using his research. It would give more of a concrete connection to RE2 and let Leon conquer some of his past demons without really dramatically changing RE4. It would tie in to RE3 Remake specifically having details like the tentacle head zombies that the devs wanted to resemble Plagas and the note from the European Umbrella guys about parasites (it's considered their "speciality.")
Since Megamycite catalog contains conciousness of people that infected with, I believe that is the real Duke. It just... Probably his past.. Or his true self behind that friendly big dude he was in RE Village.
I hope Ashley has some form of basic self defense training so she can help Leon or defend herself to a degree. It would be cool to see her AI help you out in some sections.

@@Not_Likely_319 She (name Suzi not Sophie) definitely has shown herself on camera before. Infrequently but still, even on her Resident Evil and RE4 retrospective videos from a few months ago, and her Itsuno interview from a year ago. So I dunno, maybe setting up camera stuff or dealing with poor internet was a hassle for this day of recording.
I think it would be good if they cut the giant robot and put a chaser like a Mr X type thing or a jack Backer, and chase u the entire end of the game while u're getting deteriorated by the parasite. I think it would be cool. And scary as hell
I'm honestly not even hyped for re4 remake they should've gone qith code veronica 4 still holds up today its almost a perfect game. There is so much more chance of them messing up 4 than making it better. Then you look at CV and see how it hasn't aged very well at all especially the boss fights

Biomagic has been apart of Resident Evil for a long long time now 😂 everything is technically grounded, but scientifically impossible. But who cares at this point. It is what it is.
All things considered with the recent varying quality in there RE line up, we should be discussing clear expectations and not hype. They cut features, they cut content and when REmaking they discard story, events, content and even character appearances in dress without any reason as to why. This is coming from a long time RE fan who had the series since in his teens - we need consistency and quality control. Not excuses or "deal with it" insults flung when asking about it. If you like something and invest your time into it you want to see it succeed right?
