Thank you so much, Dale! I'm so grateful that you told about the cut off on that last video! It was definitely the wrong upload and probably bound to happen eventually! lol. Thank you!! ❤
I thought I would mention it as you always show your beautiful pieces at the end. Just a heads-up on the rain drop effect with u.v. resin. I watched a video where the person mentioned that her mold when used for another project showed where the uv resin was placed from previously onto her new project. It ruined her mold. Not sure if that specific silicone which the mold was made of was the issue.
I always appreciate a heads up if you see something not quite right on here! ❤️ Thanks again! And that's good to know! I definitely am not experienced with UV Resin so I'll check my molds and see!
These are beautiful. I will have to check out the videos from the person you mentioned as I don't think I've come across her before. Many thanks for sharing your lovely work x
Those are very pretty. I first saw that technique on Tea & Arts channel as well as Pouring Your Heart Out. You could have also removed a little bit of the mica with a Q-tip and alcohol as well.
Hi Genette! I've seen the technique used by them both. ❤️ But, I did finally find who I believe first introduced the technique a year ago! Thank you! The q-tip is a great idea!! :)
It does work with the Lets resin resin too. Just be patient and let the resin set for a while and then make drops. Let it cure over night and you are ready to go.
Wow… they turned out beautifully!! I love the longer drips, which I haven’t seen done before… makes me wanna try doing like a teardrop shape?? I believe it was originally Tea and Art’s discovery, but I’m not 100% certain… I know that when Julie from Pouring your heart out did some, she credited Tea and Art. I love your tutorials by the way! Thanks for taking the time to make all your videos. ♥️♥️🇦🇺
Hi Matters! Thank you so much! I did end up finding the original poster of the technique from a year ago! :) I appreciate you and thank you for watching and for being here. ❤️
Wow these came out amazing. Luv the colours of the chameleon powders. I need to get in the studio and have a try at the raindrop technique myself. I was talking to the screen when u was adding the double drops to some of the drops, as if u would hear me lol, that it's not gonna work as u won't be able to see the other drop through the mica powder. I do look forward to seeing what it might look like though. All the best, Diane, UK xx PS. New sub from me. xx
Thank you for watching and for your subscription, Diane!! ❤ Yes!! I wish that I could have heard you! lol. It dawned on me after the fact.. That's what I get for doing this kind of thing, too late at night. hahah. I'm definitely going to give it another try today to see if it makes any difference. Let me know how the raindrop effect works for you! It really was fun!
@@resinnut9335 Hopefully it will be my 1st video on here so maybe you will be able to watch it and give me some feedback. Just trying to be brave and just go for it lol. xx
Oh man!! I just ordered larger jars and a couple of other colors. They are so much fun!! I got these from "Glitter and Crafts 4U." I know that Let's Resin also carries super chameleon powders, but I have not tried them yet, so I'm not sure how the 2 compare.
