When Christine revealed how hurt she felt when Kody and Robyn sealed their engagement with a smooch it seems they kept smooching after ( and before??) from than on. Kody drove for hours to stay at Robyn’s for the weekends. While Christine was heavily pregnant. This man is repugnant.
The disrespect Kody and Robyn showed Christine was horrible in front of the cameras no less. I cant imagine how Christine felt and later Truly how unimportant her father probably made her feel. It’s a wonder she didn’t leave you sooner
Oh, yeah, that time Kody couldn't be bothered to take care of his own child, who was sick, and instead let his teenage daughters deal with it. That time that Kody was entirely responsible for almost unaliving Truely because being with Robyn's kids was more important. Don't even get me started on Ysabel!
Kody kissing Robyn while Christine was in labor is the reason I think Kody and Robyn had their super secret, private ceremony when she moved to Lehi, not in May when they said it happened. That was the party for the show, they got married on a different day. Kody needed to stop twitching and wait for May. But I get the sense that Kody will lie about anything, even when the truth is on his side.
Yeah, Christine being alone isn't all that shocking, especially now that we have the whole scope of the show. Meri was alone when her mother died too. It just kind of illustrates how they might have a big family, but none of them are really there for each other.
Based on this review, I am guessing that Benjamin’s eyes were opened when he went to college. If there is one positive coming from the SW show, it’s that the family broke loose from the toxic polygamous environment in Utah and were exposed to public education and college. If the show hadn’t happened, you have to wonder if the family would still be in support of polygamy with some of the kids choosing that lifestyle?
It's a priority of needs. But up side down. Kody has always gotten love, money and attention. Look how rich he is? In a mansion with cars, clothes, paintings? What abt Janelle and all the children? I find it desturbing that Kody has maximized his utility at expense of the rest of the family. There's no undoing that? And he has an attitude abt it & jumps way to easy into victimhood. He is completely unaware of how wrong it is and how it looks. No awareness.
I agree, Kody and Robyn have zero self awareness. They are both incredibly selfish, they have the best of everything yet somehow still claim they are victims. The real victims are his other children that he abandoned for Robyn and her brood. Also the other three wives that they used for their financial gain.
How about one of the other wives bring Aspyn and snacks and clothes to Kody at the hospital?🤔 If he wanted to stay, he would have, he wanted to see Robyn IMO 😡
One of the other adults should have went and did what Kody had to do. He shouldn’t have had to leave. And Christine has said she was afraid if hospitals.
Kody has to be the worst. He only thinks about himself and his desires. Im so glad that you are watching the show and exposes Kody for what we all knew.

Tlc really needs to be held accountable. On one hand I’m glad the show exposed polygamy for the inequity it is but I don’t think that was the point, exploitation was, just had the happy side effect of waking a lot of the family members to the fact it’s a unhealthy lifestyle.
I can understand having a large family in the 1800s, where you needed to work a farm by doing chores (not working in a family business) and everyone helped. Kids did school and social activities along with this. However, infant and child mortality was high, so you'd have a big family. That's not labor trafficking. And this is. And the adults cry poor. It's very sad.
If you talk about births shown you should include Solomon, Ariella and Madisons kids and Mykeltis kids along with Truely. It's beyond me how the women and their kids are just agreeing to show their births when they theoretically shouldn't but unpaid. It's crazy.
I don’t think they can sue TLC. Parents are allowed to make these decisions for their children, right or not. As far as labor trafficking goes, that’s a matter of state law, so they could potentially sue their parents for back pay if the law is on their side.
Amen. Both Kody and Robyn were very aware of Christine's feelings about the pre marital kissing. Even Meri states her and kody kissed on wedding date but to keep kissing knowing that the one woman that was sooo hurt by it is giving birth yet still kiss knowing it's being filmed
All of the children should sue TLC and their parents as far as I’m concerned. Especially Kody who is deemed head of the family, because we all know these women didn’t have much of a choice.

As a 50 something women until Sisterwives I never knew polygamy existed in the United States. I’m glad you were able to get out.Question if hospitals and outside medical assistance is frowned upon, how is IVF and other fertility interventions viewed by the AUB?
Reference to ‘future faking’ - I had no idea. Yet another way the women of this cult are controlled . It’s sad to know women were strung along like that on top of everything else they had to suffer through behind a smile. The insight, observations based on shared experience and clarity of thought provided on this channel is impressive. Yeah, I always thought that is why Kody kicked Meri to the curb, being having miscarriages and not wanting to deal with it, when he has other popping kids out.

My view point is a little different on truly birth. I understand what everyone is saying now about it. BUT before sisterwives era TLC was a medical channel. So showing births and surgeries was pretty normal. I felt brave moms would share their experiences. I really didn't have women in my life I could get honest or helpful information from and as a 1st time pregnant young woman, I got a lot of useful information that really helped me. When sisterwives started and I began watching season one and they showed that (they didn't show as much as with the other births on tlc) I didn't think anything about it. BUT I was use to seeing the medical stuff like births and surgeries for years on tlc. When sisterwives started I thought it was going to be like a documentary short term series. I thought tlc was going to continue medical track while adding more anthropology. Little people big world I felt started as kind of that mix this is our world and we have medical issues. However after sisterwives took off it seemed to completely lose the medical and change to this drama improv. Looking back yes tlc did a dis service to these kids. I just wanted to give a different view point on why it wasn't shocking to viewers and no one said anything at the time.
Maybe someone asked, but why did not all 3 of body's moms be on TV? I truly loved seeing grandma Janelle, Sherl, or even when Meri mom and Christine's mom would come on the show. Maybe it's bc I miss my grandmas terribly bad since their passing 3 yrs ago, but they were all so good to each child. So loving. No matter who the "natural" mom was. Anyway. I always wondered about Winn's other wife. [Was that your mom?]
Why is it only TLC’s fault when Kody and the wives were 100% complicit and chose of their own free will to put their children on national tv? I would be inclined to sue both my parents AND TLC by your analysis. Plus we as the public are just as complicit for watching it. And for that reason, I unsubscribed. I am still trying to reconcile in my mind watching review of the show and if that is helping power the shit show that is TLC. It probably is… 😢 I do appreciate your insights and creating awareness of the abuses that are occurring.
You clearly don’t like Kody and Robyn. When you say Kody exploits his kids why don’t you include their mother by name? What about when Christine told Truely about her and Kodys divorce on camera? Will you give Christine a pass and say kids are sneaky?
