Brian I want to thank you.Over the last couple of years of tuning into your RU-vid channel and practicing your techniques I have become pretty good at paint correction never having any experience before I found your channel. I have followed your techniques your pads of choice the premium compounds waxes and sealants And over the last year I have had so many happy customers unbelievable happy I have gotten confident in the skill set that you teach thank you very much I enjoy every video that you put out you’re an awesome teacher I got my very first Lamborghini in for a paint correction my heart skipped a beat when I seen it drive into the front of my shop after I settle down talk to the owner found out what he wanted I did the paint correction and man did it pop! it turned out immaculate that’s exactly what the owners wife said she was so happy I was too it took a little bit to get over the fear of just touching it thanks again!! 👍
I like to use Mother's back to black every two months. It is very easy and quick to apply. Our 18 Edge sits outside in the San Diego sun, the black trim is as good as new.
I can't tell you how much I love this channel. I JUST did my 2013 mazda 3 trunk top as my "test panel" with a clay clean, maguiars 105, then their ultimate compound then tw ceramic polish and wax using a rotary polisher (chicago electric). It turned out virtually brand new. No holograms,love marks or other imperfections. Thank you for your videos. All steps using proper pads bought today, not the wax applicator on a ro sander method.
I have tried many products in the past. But after using this product on my 21 year old car I can attest that this is by far the best trim restorer that I have used. As always, great work on this product. You have a customer for life!

Looks awesome Brian! Will you do a video of the correction of this Ridgeline? I know Honda paint can be tricky because it seems very thin! Would love to see how you tackle it especially if sanding is needed.
Awesome results as always. The Trim is on my list to buy next. While I’m on here, have to give some feedback as I am unable to give review on the SHOP app when buying products. I have always been a “beed” person, but decided to give “sheet” a try. I was blown away after I used it on 3 different cars and went through the rain with each of them. They all still looked clean on the front and down the sides. Predictably the rear of course showed dirt, but was amazed by the rest. I’m sold and it will be my go-to. Now I have to figure out what to do with my bedding toppers. Thanks for the products Brian and your education in using them and using them properly!!
I have been using the Cerakote, but that leaves a very thick, oily residue. Once I am done with that, I will give this product a try. The natural sheen and easy of application looks great. Thank you for the video.
I have a 17' Ridgeline and started using Armor All Outlast, it's pretty good for the price. Dries completely after application as well, does not stay sticky like Cera Trim did for me. Thanks for the vid.
Something in a pump spray for areas like the windshield cowl or grills that you can’t really get an applicator in would be nice, awesome product Brian and great video 👍👍
There’s plenty of “ready wipe” trim restore items that will fit in those spaces that work extremely well such as cerakote. Not sure why you would want a spray because then you increase the chance of missing overspray and not wiping it off in time.
Bag this!! After washing just get some Tire WET and a small square angled brush and run over the moulding and just a good. It will always need this treatment after washing like the tires for the best look! Can water down the Wet with a bit of water to save $$$ Carry on! That's what the detailers do!
the 2 strips of trim on top of my dads 11 challenger were orange like the car when new and when i coated it earlier this year they were black/ grey and crusty lol. i cleaned them really good and just used Cerokote trim on them. look nice and black now lol. we live in the desert though
1-2 years only? I did Cerakote a little over 3 years ago and my trim still looks brand new. And I didn't go as far as you did on the prep work. I just scrubbed it with Dawn dish soap, rinsed very well, and dried it.
Brian beautiful job and your trim product works well just did my BMW X5 with it. And an 03 Jeep Liberty probably the worst I have seen to try and keep the plastic from drying out.

Does your trim restorer need to be wiped off immediately if it gets on the paint and if it dries on the paint will it wipe off with a microfiber towel and water

Urethane supply company now called polyvance sells urethane dyes that will permanently restore plastics and cladding. If your willing to do the paint prep and are comfortable spraying with a gun. Also customer must be willing to spend some $$$

That looks effing awesome!! What do you use to get in and scrub the cowling around the windshield wipers? That's always been a pain in the derrier for me.

I am looking for a rubber/soft plastic restorer for the roof gutter on my car. It's more rubber I think than plastic. Will this work? I tried solution finish, but it did not take to the rubber.
Hi Brian, I've got a off topic question. I've been wanting to help my mother do some restoration to her VW Jetta, It's about 8 years old and is in pretty bad shape. Mainly very bad water spots that have existed on the car for years, both on the paint work and the glass, as she does not have covered parking and we live in a rainy tropical country. A detailer eyeballed her car once and told me that the water spots have become permanent and that I would have to get the car re-painted. Is there a way to check this? Or should I start with a paint correction? Some people have even suggested using wheel acid!
Chevy Avalanche are the worst all the trim on those trucks are terrible, by telling you that even if you paint them it will peel off. Awesome Brian good to see you doing amazingly well with you your products💯👍👍🇵🇷👌.
Looks killer, I'm sure the owner was amazed...what's your opinion on this product on a vinyl tonneau cover on a truck? I assume it would work great but in your experience, is there a difference between working with hard plastic trim vs. a flexible tonneau? And if this isn't the right thing, do you have a preferred product(s) for soft tonneaus?
How would say Wax Off would have compared with say APC at 5:1 like Green Star then scrub the plastic trim? Looks way better. Will 2 coats give you any more protection then 1 coat? How long would you wait between coats? Thanks
In the past videos you have used Solution Finish. Can I use your Trim product over it? Or is it a dual purpose product: darken and protection/coating ?
Hi Brian, just wondering [thinking like tyre walls], when you say a couple of passes, was there a colour change in the foam produced on passes to indicate dirt drawn out?
That was a lot of work but results are amazing. Question, was this an package service and if so what was total time for you and cost to customer. Trying to get better within my own business estimates.
@@apexdetail85 Very good but a busy hour of your or shop labor. Plus the products are the bigger cost plus your warranty if they bring it back perhaps. Far cheaper than purchasing and install new trim. You always impress with your skills and knowledge. Thanks!
Does this perform same or better than Adam's wheel and tire cleaner?lookn 4 1 product that will work and doesn't take more time because some trims as u well know might need few tries 2 get it done correctly.
@@apexdetail85 Thank you for your reply. The plastic part is under the side door of the RV. The traces can be seen by the eyes. There are only tiny particles in the hand. It has been used. Asphalt potion, iron powder potion, technology sponge, universal cleaner, car clay, etc... Is it possible to use da polishing machine?
