This is the Story of a 1943 Rockford Planer, how it was found, transported and restored to operation. All the video and pictures were from 8 years ago and hardly seen by anyone. I edited together a lot of the moving clips for this video and in upcoming videos I will show how the machine was assembled, cleaned, painted and restored.

6" The original manual, type written on a real typewriter, says the machine is ok just to set on the ground :) The base is really rigid.

If you make that bridgeport paint job too nice, you'll never use the machine! It's a tool, not a showroom decoration. You paint it so it doesn't rust, not to see your reflection in the clear coat!

Houston area :( I just need to add a transition flashing at the pitch change... I shoved the lower roof sheets 8 inches under the upper roof sheets and caulked it thinking that would be great... Somehow water gets under there in a blowing rain no matter how much I look and seal :(
