I’m returning to God by cutting off the time I play videos games and watching RU-vid videos. I also want to focus more on God and less on eating so much food. I’ve been using food (a wonderful gift from God) as a crutch, and I need to stop. As always enjoyed this message
I've recently started to cut down on the video games to and it's rewarding don't stop it's ok to play them sometimes preferably with friends but make sure your heart is truly for God cause He's a jealous God He wants Him to be your lifes focus not the things of the world even tho it's hard and don't listen to the demon when your reading and he tells you it's better to play video games cause he's wrong you will never feel truly happy playing video games but it's good sometimes to hop on with the boys
I can return to God by letting go of this guy I only talk to bc of loneliness. Also by not falling into lust with pornography/ Masturbation. I’ve been struggling because my emotions are soooo strong of sadness from my divorce and I know what it takes to fight that, but the most important thing would be getting back to God. I know he’s dealing with me because it’s exactly what was preached on by Alex and I appreciate God for using his son to remind me what’s important. Being able to be used by God which means so much to me in this season. Please pray for me.
I really needed to hear this. I had accepted God in my life once. The joy and peace that I had felt that day was beyond anything. Words could not describe it. Last year I went back into sin. I went back to drinking. Same thing happened this year. The thirst and hunger for God's word and presence had gone away but to a certain extent. I knew that my peace, joy and comfort is found in God. That is why I still watched Christian content and listened to gospel songs. Honestly, I realised the reason I always went back is because I am exposed to people who do not love Christ. It is either they believe in God and the ancestors or strictly ancestors. Those are people I made friends with. There is no serious talk that will ever be there about God. There is a lot I can say- actually I have already said a lot judging from this paragraph, but all I will say is thank you for reminding me that God has given us the Holy Spirit. Through it we have power to return back to God. I need to go back to Him. I don't know how I will find a group of friends that believe in Christ so that we could encourage each other in Christ. Nonetheless, I know God is faithful enough to bring those people in my life. Thank you for sharing this guys! I really thank God for you. May the Lord bless you abundantly❤️
Hello there :) I loved this testimony, and how you valued the Holy Spirit. Just wanted to say that the Holy Spirit is actually a WHO, not an IT, meaning He's the Spirit of God that can do things like being grieved because of our sins (Ephesians 4:30), which we should obviously do less through His power. He can be delighted when we obey Him, He has feelings too. So, let's make Him pleased by our obedience. What a privelege to have an opportunity to please The One True GOD! hello sister, praise God in the name of Jesus today and every day. I was a substance user for 50 years. when I turned to Jesus my life changed. when my faith became stronger I was able to stop using,..cold turkey. a was a user one day and clean the next and I never looked back. I didn't have to choose new friends, although that must happen if our friends are still drinkers, smokers, whatever their drug may be. I didn't have to separate myself from them because they all ran from me like I had the plague. when you're born again and you become a testimony of truth, which is Christ, you're real friends, or not, will be revealed. read 2cor 5:17

I have had an idol of calories and old demons come back to me and I haven’t been trusting the Lord. But, He told me I was still His Child, I was still saved, but I needed to take a step of faith and go below surface level. Thank you so so much.
Thank you so much for this amazing message. I’m a sophomore in high school and I really need to take a break from all of social media and just all the junk that is all over. I also need to stop putting my faith in what other people think of me. I become so dependent on others thoughts that I lose my focus on God.
Returning means… Dieing to self. Removing the obstacles as Alex was saying. Being open to receive something much better for me than what I was trying to get from the world. Remembering that I have been given a mission to spread the truth to others, and I can’t do that without living in the truth myself.
I return to God by praying in a quiet area and just spilling my honest thoughts to Him. I also removed an obstacle that was distancing me and God from eachother
This is something i have been really struggling with recently. God has shown me that Electronics and scrolling on RU-vid has been keeping me from Him. I have tried, suceeded for a time to stop all electronics and then always go back. Its a real struggle and i feel very frustrated with myself about it.
All these testimonies make me feel less alone in my own struggle. I struggle with lust and I’ve rapidly watched it ruin my life the past couple months. I plan on ignoring the flesh and reading the Bible more gaining a connection and watching more uplifting/ self motivating videos instead of the ones that have lured me to sin. I’m beyond thankful God has given me a door to the real me a peaceful me that has completely submitted to his bidding. He has never given up on me and I’ve never felt the need to give up simply because I know he wants me to be great. I’m thankful for this word as a reminder that I am not alone and I must turn back to my God!

I realizes I was prioritising my academics and social life over God. Funny enough I barely even have a social life, yet iwas prioritising that over God. How I return to God is to take out a day like Friday and fast, be in scripture, in his presence, in worship and just come back to delighting in the father.
Im returning to God by praying and repenting first and asking him to help me truly change my heart and my life cause only he can, also leaving certain habits and content is also something that is important in coming back to him and severing certain relationships or friendships that do not produce good fruits in ones life

I can return to God by spending more time in his word,and by making the blessing less important than the one who blessed me(Jesus). Also, cultivating the habit of starting my day earlier than i would to spend time in his word and watching more uplifting videos.

And has the time or feels lead to, Please pray for my friend and sister in Christ Cass(Cassidy). She has deleted her channel and there hasn't been any word from her. She suffers with crohn's disease. And just recently in the last year started putting out her testimony and started something called porch praise with Cass, I would thank anyone who if they have the time to pray for my friend that has encouraged me so greatly and many others. Please pray for encouragement and love for her. She.. her testimony touched me so deeply every video she made encouraged me in the season I was going Thur.
