I front a fan theory tumblr post of the walking dead, that the human body is strong enough to bite a finger clean off and that our brain stops us from being able to do it so we don’t accidentally bite off our tongues. And that’s why in zombie movies they are so strong because the part of the brain that controls that is no longer in affect. I’m no scientist so I wouldn’t know for certain

I remember that I recommended this movie to some friends of my that don't like horror movies, i told them that this was a comedy, the next day they were really angry with me because they say "that it wasn't funny, it was scary and gore". So i guess i lost some friends that day.

I remember being maybe 5 years old in Hollywood video and seeing the cover for the VHS of this movie. I wanted to see what it was so bad, but my parents wouldn't let me get it. haha. One of my oldest memories.

I liked the horror-romance of III better than the whole “Amblin family-horror movie” feeling part II gave me. I really did like the gag where the reoccurring actors are like “this whole thing feels so damn familiar! You, me, him, _them_ !” I mean, to have recasting in a comedy-horror anthology series would just be a _waste,_ right?

I guarantee that none of you noticed Johnny when he turned into a zombie. He’s the other bully. I just wished they showed Jesse noticing him as a zombie and fighting him too. I didn’t notice zombie Johnny until last night. I remember 30 years ago me and my sister was wondering what happened to him and we just assumed that he turned as well

I read a review on amazon that said that the DVD release has a different soundtrack from the original. Can anyone confirm if this is true? I have this film on vhs tape but it's wearing out badly and I'm thinking of buying the DVD.

I was watching it the other night on TV and I did not hear the track 'High Priest Of Love' by Zodiac Mindwarp & The Love Reaction this time around. These movies have been chopped to death when it comes to all the remastering they've done to them over the years. The same goes for the first entry: Whenever it airs on TV, you never know which cut you're gonna get until you hear either the Tarman's new or old dubbed voice or certain tracks on the soundtrack missing ('Dead Beat Dance' by The Damned/'Young Fast Iranians' by The F.U.'s etc etc).

VHS and DVD distributors couldn't afford to pay copyright fees for the music contained in the originals, so they substituted generic soundtracks, or removed the songs.

I think that the zombie was a retired police officer who likely made a request to be buried in his uniform long before he died. The whole town was likely already evacuated but yet for some reason Jesse and his group along with the families of Billy and the other kid, and the two grave robbers and the red headed woman were still overlooked and left behind.
