Marko could you talk a little about yourself, where you were born, growing up and so on. When was the first time you knew you needed to play a guitar...

Awesome story. I had something similar happen last year. Sold my Japanese Ibanez I bought in 97 and sold in 05, by dumb luck I came across it almost 20 years later and instantly bought it back. Needless to say she's going nowhere now. Congrats!

It really gladdens me to hear that you've reunited with a guitar that's part of your story, Marco. I've recently reunited with an old 1990 HM Strat that my uncle found for me back when I was 14. My first 'real' guitar, and a huge act of generosity on his part. Sadly, he's no longer around; I can't wait to get that thing up and running again. Life doesn't stop and it's hopelessly confounding, but I do feel storied instruments such as these help us see the bigger picture. Thanks for the fab vid!

Nice! Good luck getting Nuno to sign it again. That would be the icing on the cake. Maybe at NAMM this week ??? Reminds me of having my 1976 Gibson Les Paul Black Beauty returned to me by a friend 4 years after I had left it & everything behind & went to live on the street in 1991 for a few years. When I got it back it was still playable but in bad shape. In 2017 I sent it to Gibson Repair & Restoration & had it completely restored. I've owned it now for 47 years. You've seen it. AND, NO! I ain't gonna' sell it to you. Bwahahahahaha! Just goes to show ya' . . .some things are meant to be. God Bless. PS. nice slippers!

Amazing brother.!! Really wish I could finally have an N4. I bought my 91 N2 new in 92 after I saved up 700 bucks when I was 16 (lol) , right beside the n2 was the n4 which iirc was 1200 or something I remember wanting it sooo bad but just didn't have the dough. That said I still have the n2 and my 16 year old son shreds too on it. I'll never part with it. It's one of the oddball n2s which were shaped smaller than the n4s. Anyways allll these years later I still keep my eyes peeled here in Ontario Can for an n4 but no luck so I picked up an n24 ... No mojo so would really love to one day find an n4 to keep another 30 years 🤟

Great story, and great video! I still regret selling a Hamer USA Californian Holoskull. It wasn’t the one Steve Stevens used in the Dirty Diana video, but it was one of 10 backups he had on set. It was signed and had his buckle rash on it. I consigned it when I was broke, and the store told me he got 2500 for it, took their 20% and gave me the rest. I later found his Reverb post and it sold for almost six grand. Bastards!

Amazing seeing another story similar to mine. 🙏🏼 Here’s my long story. When I was 9 in 1987 my dad bought me my first electric guitar for Christmas. A gibson epiphone Genesis deluxe and I was so excited. Up till then I would just mess round with his acoustic. While extremely happy, back then I didn't think to much about it and didn't understand that he didn't have a lot of cash to do something like that. But he made it happen as he knew it was something I really wanted and talked about all the time. Fast forward a few years into junior high (1990) and being young and dumb I traded that guitar in for what I thought was a cooler guitar at the time. I started regretting that decision in my late teens and when I was 20 I started trying to find that guitar to buy back. For the next 20 years I searched stores , want ads and internet with no luck and figured by now I would have found it if it was still in this small city, so I assumed it had probably been sold out of province of country. I was pretty bummed and even more regret that I'd never see that guitar again. Recently by chance I seen a add on facebook for what looked like my guitar. I messaged the guy asking for pictures of specific spots / damage and wear on the guitar that would tell me if it was my old guitar and not just one that looked like. I couldn't believe when I got the pictures and saw all the old marks in exactly the same places. I knew had to get this guitar back as it has major sentimental value to me. The guy was selling for a friend. I asked to get in touch with him and he said he'd let me know. I Didn't hear anything back for over a month so I figured he sold.m it. I was Totally bummed again. I messaged again just incase and got no reply for a couple more weeks. Then all of a sudden I got a reply. He said his friend still had and would give him my number. I was hopeful but hadn't heard from him in about a week so again thinking it’s not gonna happen. But I get a call free days later and it was him. He was on the fence about selling so I told him my story and he's in the same boat looking for a guitar he regretted selling long ago and could sympathize. Well I finally made a deal with the guy and now have it back. Crazy memories and still can't believe after 20 years of looking and 30 years of not having it I found it.

Definitely have me beat on time between but it’s be had two guitars stolen and was able to get both back. One I found a few years later in a local pawn shop. Knew it was mine based on some custom work. It was the first guitar I bought with my own money. Cost me $100 to buy it back. Still have it. The second was a guitar my wife bought me for my birthday. A couple years later we were on vacation at Disneyland and I received a phone call from the police that the guitar had been pawned. Cost me $25 bucks to buy it back. Was in great condition and even had new strings. It was missing the trem arm, but oh well. It was my No1 for a good 15 years. Definitely used up some karma. Happy for your reunion.

I love this video. I sold my 1991 N2 that my parents bought for my 21st in 1996 and always regretted it. I bought another a few weeks ago and I got a lump in my throat. Its not my original one, but the same year etc. I've had several guitars over 30 years but I sold most off as a dopey youngster. It makes you realise what guitars mean to their owners. It is something that always picks you up when you are down , and is this one thing in this world that won't argue back but instead ot makes you feel good.

This is the whole reason I have over 120 guitars, because I regretted selling one of my guitars while in the Marines. I didn't remember the name of the Marine I sold it to or the serial number (like you said, we didn't really have phones the way we do now. Camera phones may have just started to come out.) but I do recall some dents on it! Anyway, 18 years later, I got an eBay alert (had them for a decade+) and almost didn't open it. But I finally found MY guitar! (at least 99% sure it's mine) I even had my high school senior portraits taken with it! Whoever had it since me had done some mods (and screwed up a few things) but I plan to get it back to tip top shape! I should probably do a video on it. 🤘

Hey, I'd love it if you can do a video about the Bill Lawrence USA L500 vs the Wilde Bill & Becky version. I've had both, but it's been too long and i don't really remember the differences. As a legit N4 connoisseur I'd love to hear your thoughts. Cheers

Wow Marko, I gotta admit that this is a pretty beautiful story. Even I understood the emotions when you opened up the case. Guitars are something you play and develop an emotional attachment to as they become sentimental and that’s nothing we all don’t already know. It’s amazing how they build their own personality and vibe. We’ve all parted ways with our instruments at some point before but to get it back the way you left it is pretty amazing. You’re very lucky. Cheers man
