Bought these gloves thanks to your review. Fantastic gloves for bags and pads.
@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667
Yeah they are great bag and mitt gloves and they aren't 2 ounces overweight. Which is the part I love about them most. My "12 ounce" Cleto Reyes are little over 14 ounces lol

Great review and I concur. I really like these gloves, although I do think they can be a bit tough on sparring partners.

Yeah they take a while to break in. After they are broke in they soften up a bit.

Great review. Fairtex makes great Muay Thai gloves (great everything to be honest). Going to need to try their Mexican style gloves.

I know you're all about the Mexican style gloves. You have a lot of different Mexican gloves

@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 I also love Thai gloves and shin guards. I have tried Boon years ago. I used to own several fairtex and twins gloves. I have yet to try Windy and Yakkao though.

Are the BV-5s better or Super Sparring Gloves? In terms of being more soft and feeling broken in, and overall use for sparring?
@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667
I don't know as I haven't owned those other gloves yet

what do you mean with that these are not so safety gloves? do you mean that this one will hurt your training parter or do you mean that this gloves will not protect you good enough because of the less padding?
@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667

They protect your hands well but they are rough on your sparring partners

I need bag gloves. Debating between these and the rb 50. Would these be good in 10oz? I have small hands, and prefer snug fitting gloves
@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667
These gloves are very compact. You shouldn't have a problem

Bought those in 10oz for bag and mitts. Weight is 10.3oz each, so pretty much on the money. Great workmanship. I am 5'9 and the 10oz. fit perfectly my medium sized hands. Tight but comfortable fit with wraps. Kind of what you expect from Mexican style gloves. Thanks for the review.

I just gave these to one of my older friends because he loved them so much

Awesome review! I was going to buy these, but ended up going with the Rival RB1 because I didn't want to deal the classic "Thai magic" where the gloves are atleast 2oz underweight. I have yet to own a pair of made in Thailand gloves that doesn't have this problem.

My Yokkao's have been on point weight wise. These are amazing gloves though for the bag and mitts.

@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 Thanks man. Also how tall are you? I'm a shorter guy (5’4) and the glove looks like it might be a bit long for my arms.

@@ryann9008 in 5'5". This give will work for you. If you're heavier than 135 and want to use it as an all around training glove I would suggest the 14 ounce version. They will last you forever too. I had mine for around 4 years now and they been put through it.

@@wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667 Sorry to bother you again, hows the fit? I heard these gloves are kinda big width wise. And are they on weight? Thai gloves are usually pretty underweight.

@@ryann9008 tight around the wrist and palm with open space making it loose between your knuckles and the padding like a Reyes glove.
