Yeah, also it's really interesting to see a Jingsha motherboard again. One of my mates had one once and it actually performed alright with a 6 core Xeon CPU
You should do this every couple weeks or month or something. Its nice to see various different builds and get ideas for your own setup. Another great video!
Always enjoy your vids your relaxed confident delivery of facts and your opinions are an informative pleasure and very calming in the current climate. Thanks.
Hey. It's my setup at 7:10 :). And anyone wondering, I got that case for just about 40$, it was one of the cheapest available, and it's great for that amount of money. And about PS2, it was a big part of my childhood, but I never owned one, so I got it like a year ago. It's a legendary console, and it was always a special one for me. There's also a PS3 slim right next to it that I got recently, and I also enjoy playing some great games on it.
Exactly what I'm doing It's a socket 775 system, motherboard is ga-g41m-combo, 320gb+1tb hdd, gt 1030, 8gb ddr3, q9300. I do happen to have a dead HP SFF z200 prebuilt, which I took the hard drive, dvd drive from. Monitor is hp le1851w, logitech mk120, cheap speaker Most of parts are used
Bro my current system is a complete frankenstein like that lmao, got some compaq mb500 prebuilt i found that came with a c2d, no gpu n a 300w psu so ive put an old c2q q8200, 2x2gb ddr3, radeon hd6950 and 450w psu i had laying around, then got a r9 270 for £20 off my mate, 2x4gb ram and some akasa evo p4 cooler that still worked with lga775 lmao ohh and also the board had a slot for a laptop wifi card so ive put one n put the laptop antennas into the front under the dvd drive, the cable management fully dont exist inside it but like if it can run csgo decently idek, saving up for a fancy ryzen build now tho
@@Cr0frog my previous system is hp z200 with i3 550 It died because i washed it (I thought it was dried!) And then I got asrock G41M-VS3 that is actually hand me down. One day I'm changing bios logo and it bricked. (I fixed it with ch341a)
Inkling Boy - BLK • 555 • All three of us have a g41 lol I like building stuff with older parts to see what you can push them to do. I have an Asrock G41mt with an i3 2100 (2 core 3.1ghz) which I’m upgrading to a 4 core. It also has 8gb of DDR3, 430W EVGA psu and a Redeon R7 260x that I bought for $2 because it was corroded and rusty. Cleaned it up and it works great. I’m also building another rig with a m4a87td motherboard and a 6 core Phenom x6 1055t I bought for $10. Damn, how did you wash it? I throw my stuff in the dish washer and then blow dry it with a hair dryer. Keep building lads, best way to learn.
Cr0y Frog Slowly build your way up dude. You’ll appreciate your rig more, like it’s a car you’ve done up. Unless you play demanding games your pc is fine.
Wow I did not expect such a great feedback! Thanks for featuring my build in the thumbnail! It has been going strong for 2 months, no leaks! Took a lot of work to look how it looks but it definitely paid off! One last advice: Always try to be creative with what you've got, recycle kids 😁.
i use some shitty hp one i stole from the office before they trow it away. i don t get gaming keyboards. unless they have custom keys for adding on one button Shift+ 1 2 3 4 or whatever then its pointless
Found my PC online very cheap, the specs were: Intel i3-2120, 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz, 500GB Hitachi SATA3 HDD, 500W Power BOX PSU, ASRock H61M/U3S3 motherboard and got also 19 inch monitor + keyboard and mouse for just £40 :D ! I've upgraded it slightly just to be sure i can game on it and now the specs are: Intel i3-2120 , 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz Kingston HyperX Fury , 120GB Crucial SSD + 500GB Hitachi (its own HDD), Nvidia GTX 950 Asus Strix Edition and I can game on every game with respectable FPS (not ot high or ultra settings in the newest titles) but its enough for me! The total cost for now is £150! :)
3:33 I have that same case. Only mine has a Pentium 3, a Sound Blaster Live 5.1 Platinum with the Live Drive, a Voodoo5 5500, and a few other goodies slapped in it.
Sounds like a beauty, should post and see if it gets featured in the next one of this series :) I'm currently putting together a Windows 98 PC myself, not at all period correct but I wanted to put together the most powerful system I could without using mods except for the GPU drivers, and it'll have when finished: Pentium 4 SL7PP S478 @3.4GHz P4P800-VM/S Motherboard 2x512MB DDR @400MHz Gainward 6800GS AGP w/ Modded 82.69 Drivers SoundBlaster Live! Value 5.1 Gotek Floppy Emulator 128GB MSATA SSD in a 44pin IDE adapter
@@PaulTheFox1988 it sounds a lot more impressive than it looks. My systems are usually pretty rough looking, because they're parts I've either dumpster dived, scrap picked, or had for over 20 years.
@@MikeStavola Those are the best kind of systems tbh, taking a dumpster find and transforming it into a working machine again, giving a new lease of life to hardware destined for the dump site is a far better idea than polluting the environment and wasting resources. Besides, some of the systems I have aren't pretty to look at, apart from my main rig and our lasses rig, the rest are in various states of ugly :D
@@PaulTheFox1988 I think all of my systems are ugly. But, I think I'll send in some pictures soon enough. I have between 10 and 20 computers in my computer room at any time, and a walk in closet full of parts.
I actually build PC’s to sell and have actually used well over 100 of the aerocool Intergrator psu and had zero issues with them power supply’s, also had no feedback from people buying my PC’s with the aerocool psu in. Love you uploads by the way.
How people cable manage is always interesting to me. In virtually every rig there's something i would change, and someone I like that I'll copy in my next build/rebuild
I thought I clicked on a video of the series “Magnum”. I would let it grow as I think it suits you well. Enjoyed the video as usual and can’t wait for the nexts ones. Take care, be safe and greetings from Belgium 🇧🇪.
17:00, the casing really looks old school but the insides are UNBELIEVABLE!!! The guy who build his PC like this really puts his effort and time to build it. It also is similar look like a video from Linus Tech Tips, titled The ULTIMATE Powerhouse Sleeper PC. Nice job for a first time build.
Hey! I just wanted to say YOU'RE THE MAN!! I wish my rig was only half as good as these Rigs. But oh well. Just wanted to let you know you've Inspired me to get into PC Stuff myself. Started me own channel. Hopefully i'll be able to help people just as as you did. Thank you so much for the motivation. Support is appreciated.
@RandomGaminginHD the TUF laptops are great, I own a current series job with Ryzen 5 3550H and GTX1650 with 16GB DDR4. Lovely little unit, wasn't too expensive and yes they're a bit plasticky but honestly I could care less - I got it for the price-to-performance and not because it was 2mm thick... which it isn't. On the up side it doesn't get stupidly hot and keeps noise reasonble when under load. For the budget minded laptop buyer I'd defintely recommend having a look at one of these.
I love those old X58 builds. The W3680 is great CPU as its unlocked and can be used with any X58 Mobo and clocked up to 4.2 GHz just on the multiplier. Only £35 each!!
@@smash461986 i think the way nvidea is going i would say the 3070 would be about 600 pounds for one unless the have to decrease prices for some unknown reason as they don't normally lower prices when the new cards come out
i have a rx580. currently playing just WoW and some lol. sometimes i do play bf 5. i want to upgrade to 5700xt. but idk if i should wait for rdna2. also just a 75hz freesync monitor
My work had gotten bought out a few years back, and though they kept the employees, they got rid of a few of the computers. I was able to acquire 2 Dell inspirons with i5 4440 and 8 gb ram. I upgraded both to be budget friendly/backup gaming PCs. I ended giving one to my dad, then the other I gave to my brother in law so he could finally start gaming on PC. Both I added a 500 GB SSD, 1TB HDD. Both PCs still run fine. One I added a GTX 1050ti and the other had a GTX 970.
OMG those pc case on 17:05 are the exact same case that i have from 2002, and i still have it now, the hardware inside the case (it is a pentium 3) are not working anymore. but after watching this video, i wonder if i can build my second pc using that case, it is going to be a badass sleeper pc XD .
I remember back when i played videogames on my dads' pentium d windows xp pc for those 2008 days it was epic. Boy he still uses that case, i cry when i see it.
My rig at 6:13 :D I've honestly never had good judgement with power supplies, I had a previous PC with an even worse one, this one's done me great so far, but I knew already it needed upgrading as it's only 80+ bronze (My last wasn't even rated) But I enjoyed hearing what you had to say anyways. Definitely in the market for a better one now lol P.S. it's actually a 600w not a 500w, my bad haha
I am currently building a computer in that same old case at 16:50 in the video. I'm going a different route with making the complete system look like something modern instead of going the Sleeper PC route.. More like a resto-mod if you are comparing it to a car build. I'm actually taking the front panel and modifying it to fit on a different chassis. Hopefully after the current isolation ends i'll be able to get back on track and get all of the parts I need to complete this thing.
@@fletchy88 Totally should... I just took pictures of mine now, but the lighting is so poor in my room, especially at night. But defs going to send mine in :D... I hope to see your rig on the next RYGR! :D
i just upgraded from a 1060 3gb and i’m so happy. the 1060 is a great card but the 3gb version is a real head-scratcher. normal 1060s are still great today but half the games you would normally be able to run are basically unplayable with the low VRAM. Playing warzone on the lowest setting went over my 3gbs when normal call of duty would run flawlessly. if you can manage it, a normal 1060 or 1660 will do you so much better.
My best pc deal ever 5 dollars for a unknown msi graphics card, with sweet and sour sauce in it. It turns out it was a 1060 3gb and with a little bit of love it works and now I have a graphics card for my pc.
I own a Sapphire Pulse RX 5600 XT paired with a Ryzen 5 3600 and it plays most of the games that I have at >144fps with a couple of graphical tweaking. the card suffers from black screens before but the new AMD drivers have solved most of those issues it still does happen every once in a while but I am overall happy with the card!
Saludos from Costa Rica, big fan of the channel, how about compare like the difference the performance boost from the gtx 460, then the 460, then the 560 and so on, but firts with the best processor then the second best, and also with and old game like oblivion and of course crysis, and then gta v, that will make a like a series of videos
A whoole lotta flex builds. Wish I had something to flex lol. All I got is a old Lenovo G500 running a high end i3 3110M, Integrated Intel HD 4000 Graphics, 8Gigs of ddr3 and a 500Gig HDD. Such high caliber spec.
