RFI Ep. 215: Vomit Remnants 

I remember jamming these guys back in the early 2000's. A friend of mine went on tour with them and got me a copy of Supreme Entity. Also turned me on to Disconformity who I actually liked more than VR.

I never heard of them, they sound good! Glad you mentioned them , I like some of the metal that comes out of Japan 🇯🇵 😎👍🏻

Although I don't want to vomit, there might be remnants of my skull stuck between my keyboard from headbanging so hard that I end up slamming my face into the desk. I looked at the bandcamp page to see how much that signed copy might be, a bit expensive but it's pretty cool nonetheless.

Oldschool slam is some of the most fun music ever!! Glossectomy and Jenova virus, Blunt Force Trauma are some other amazing jslam bands

I also hear a bit of Immolation on there, especially with the pinch-harmonics as part of the melody part

Mike Smith did have a hip-hop project, Grimm Real, but I think it was after his time with Suffocation

Another good one mate 👍 if you're taking requests then I'd love an Estirpe Imperial episode. I've probably requested them before but they just got removed from RU-vid which made me think of them recently. Great Spanish RAC.

There are some fucking awesome slam bands that go above and beyond and actually write great and very technical music that works flawlessly around those caveman esc slam riffs. Wormhole is a great newer slam band. Just say them live the other night, and No One Gets Out Alive is awesome. Banjo slam fucking kicks ass. Seriously, do an episode on No One Gets Out Alive.

Thoughts on the Melodic Death band Grenadier? They put out a single today

Even tho not mentioned, the 2017 album is just as goofy a banger as the rest of their material, with heavier sounding production.
