Thank you David, your comment comes up but when I try to read it I get the ‘comment not found’ message. I don’t know why this is happening. I’ve looked in the junk box and it’s gone altogether. I wish RU-vid would leave it be, I miss our chats I hope you and Alex have a lovely Christmas and are able to enjoy some relaxing time with some nice goodies to eat. I know you have to watch your weight so nibble in moderation. I didn’t realise you worked in an Italian Restaurant, I did too, I ran it for some friends who had a family emergency to attend to in South Australia. They were going to close the doors for a couple of weeks but I convinced them to let me take over. I took some leave and got them out of a pickle. I LOVED it!!!! The customers all knew there was a new chef in the kitchen and we got some fabulous tips. When the owners returned there were complaints that the new chef was no longer there. I thought that was wonderful, I’m not sure the owners did though lol. If I had my time again I would be in a kitchen somewhere cooking my heart out.🧑🏻‍🍳🥄🍴🥢🍲🥩🥨🥟🍰🍾🍷🥂🍻🍺🍽🥣

@@CheekysKitchen Yummy. I can see some Christmas Cocktails in those. I have a few too for the Christmas Spirit. I bought a bottle of Mr Black coffee liqueur and a doz bottles of Vodka cruiser chocolate mudshake to make a few Frankentails.. 👍😛 Sadly though no boozy Christmas fruit cake. I miss the Molly O'Rourke cake. Well if I ever get up your way I'll be more than happy to share an almond butter biscuit and a drink with you. Until then, Merry Christmas to you and your family. Thank you John and the same to you. Frankentails sounds more like Hallowe’en than Christmas. You have piqued my interest though, I’m off to check it out. I remember Molly o’Rourkes came in a green and white tin. My late Dad used to buy a couple on sale after Christmas to see him through the year. They kept very well and you needed a tin opener to get to them. Lol Have they stopped making them I wonder?

@@CheekysKitchen Yes a few years back. I too Squirrelled away as many as I could get. As it's said.. All good things must come to an end.

I googled them, Big Sister took them over and then went into receivership, quite a few of their smaller companies went to the wall as well. I remember the smell of the whisky when it was released. Clever marketing ploy, using the tin. Travelled well, lasted for ages, waterproof, bug proof, good to take on a picnic, a camp or even in a caravan, a yacht or houseboat. I don’t know why more companies don’t do it, if it’s good enough for baked beans….lol

Thank you so much Lucy, yes my new hip is almost 6 weeks old now. I’m able to swim now and even had a massage, I’m back in the kitchen and stockpiling my Christmas goodies for my family and friends. To be honest, a couple of weeks ago, I never thought I would be feeling as well as I am now. I’m happy to report that things are going very well for me.
