Hi Cheekyricho. Oooh yes this does look good and from scratch too. I'm partial to the outside crusty slices too. I have a packet mix waiting to be used and a tin of cherries to go with that for Black Forest Brownies. Looks like an after Christmas round to though!. Nice choice Holly.. Thank you John, like the sound of your Black Forest brownies , a slather of dark chocolate ganache with a glug of Kirsch, after all it is nearly Christmas. Normally John I would be all over my Christmas cooking long before this but so many usual Circumstances bombarding us at the moment have really thrown our preparations into a tailspin. Of course I will be doing some new Christmas recipes and the weather has certainly been favourable wet and cooler, perfect for baking etc. I normally bake 16 Christmas cakes for family and friends but I’ve had trouble finding the dried fruit. Three different supermarkets until I found the last 3GS available, it felt like the toilet paper saga all over again. Leave it with me I’ll find something scrumptious to adorn your Festive table. @@CheekysKitchen Mmmm those additional ingredients for the brownies sound delicious. I had another thought...🤔 Rum and Raisin brownies. 🤤. A hand full of raisins soaked in rum until inebriated and plump then add to the mix with the remaining liquor. Yo ho ho and brownie of rum.. 😛 Yes I believe your round to it would be a bit wobbly at the moment. I hope you can get done what is needed and the rest as best as you can. Don't Stress or worry, they don't help, but hinder. Be kind to yourself while doing same for others. 👍😀

Made by You and I, thanks for the great feedback, I’m glad you found us too. Just follow the directions and you can’t fail. Just remember to not overcook them. Use a skewer or straw to test them, in a couple of places, just in case you hit a melted chocolate chip. The residual heat inside the brownie will keep it cooking for about 5 minutes after you take it out of the oven. If you’re like me a enjoy the fudgie texture, they will be perfect. Layer it in a tall parfait glass with fresh berries, cream and dollops of dark chocolate ganache for a spectacular brownie parfait/sundae. Sandwich two brownies around some cookies and cream ice cream for a decadent ice cream sandwich. This is such an easy recipe to make and enjoy.
