Hello Ah Pa from the UK....ahhh my favourite one pot meals (for when I have no visitors,) looks oh so tasty yummy, that's my Friday lunch sorted now to the supermarket I will go.. Thank you very much my favourite Chef ( ok ok I know what you said you are not a Chef,) But you are a Chef to me...I bet your other followers agree..,

Hello cooking ah pa if i do not have cumin seeds or cumin powder, is it still ok to do this dish? Our do i use any other substitutes?

I like the fact that this is a one-pot-dish! Hardly any washing! Ah pa, have you ever tried Sarawak pepper? If you haven't, you must. Its more potent than what you can get in west msia. Seen it sold in Giant.
