Got to see the original Poco during the "Deliverin" tour. Excellent fun show. They were tight!

The Eagles always sounded like a shadow of Poco to me. Where Poco sounded authentic, the Eagles sounded manufactured and like they were trying too hard to be cool. Of course I'm outvoted by fame and sales, but I still like Poco better than the Eagles. It's the same complaint that some people make about CCR and their albums I guess. Of course, there the band itself made some noises about that problem too! Maybe Bernie and Randy would agree with me, I don't know. Of course Randy is gone now, so we can't ask him. Maybe he talked about it, sometime in the past?

Neil has a unique voice? Doesn't have the appeal? That's really sugar coating the nails on the chalk board screech. I'll take Richie's voice on those NY written songs.
