16 hour days, 6 or 7 days out of 8. Welcome to the wonderful world of Texas Corrections. ( supposed to be 12 hr shifts, 4 days on, 4 off - - hasn't been there in 4 years)
4382 hours? That's 12 hours a day, every single day last year. 12×365=4380 so I guess he snuck in a couple more. Ricky really workin' that hard? Damn, I have a new respect for Ricky...
I get the feeling Ricky is one of those gifted mother fuckers who goof off most of the day and then go knock out all the work they're supposed to do in like an hour.
It's been a little over 25 years ago, my daughter got a part time job. She came home with her first paycheck and wanted to know what this FICA stuff was all about. I told her that's why Dad is a grump sometimes.
Retired now.. IUEC Local 32 Atlanta, Georgia.. spent many a damn cold day on high Rise construction jobs (32 yrs).. only damn thing we had back then was porta john poetry 🤣🤣.. we didnt even get such a thing as a cell phone till 6-7 yrs before i retired... although we DID have a Ricky on bout EVERY job!!🤣🤣
Ouch. Now that right there, that hurt a little. You see I was born in this 1982 you speak of..it was NOT that long ago ok AND there is nothing at all wrong with only being able to pick up sticks the yard…to play with….at least we were not walking up hill both ways in 4 feet of snow to get to school…like Roscoe 😂
Retired Union Elevator Mechanic here.. spent MANY a damn cold day on a high Rise Construction job (32 yrs).. Not only did we have a Ricky on EVERY job.. hell, we had 3 brothers from the North Georgia Mountains .. Harold, his brother Daryl .. an his other brother Darryl !! 🤣🤣
I'm with Ricky! Between taxes, insurance, and 401k I get half my pay. I made over 1500 and bring 750 home. I need my money from my 401k to buy eggs, dammit!😭🤣🤣
It was only during the pandemic in 2020 that the IRS waived any penalties for withdrawing from your 401k or retirement savings Ira. I liquidated what little I had thinking of get it semi fast so it would matter but no. A few thousand dollars sent to me in the mail... two months later. Way after the finance emergencies, I was suffering in May had happened and been survived, lol.
If you are working the right job with the right blue collar skills you too can make 40.00 plus perdiem of 125 per day but it’s hard on married life unless she is with you then sometimes if she’s working too you can double up !!!
Yeah screw that noise. I worked a little over 200 hours of OT last year. The most I've ever worked. I'm also making big enough bucks to not need to work those hours, but I actually enjoy my job so it didn't bother me one bit working extra. Was able to buy myself a good used truck, several firearms and tons of ammo plus a few other toys. No baby mommas either, that's my biggest secret
I went to work today in a wheel chair... times are so bad it literally cost me an arm and a leg to pay my bills. Hell I ain't even the worst one, my coworker missing both his arms and both his legs cuz on top of bills his ex wife got him for child support and alimony. Poor bastard...
Just cause he showing up doesn't mean he working. Just saying we got plenty of people that get 60+ hours a week and only working about 10 of those hours 🤣
No shit...I work 50 hrs a week but I work non stop....no slack time no breaks. It's exhausting. Lots of people go into work breath air and get 60hrs a week but they are only really doing any work about 4 hrs a day. The rest of it is social time and phone games. Fuck that. I go in and knock my work out so I can go home. I could give two shits if I make less $ . Work isn't life.
I was 8yrs i remember we sang the national anthem and said the pledge of allegiance at the beginning of the school day seems so far off now i bet most the kids nowdays even know the words to either
This one is kind of frustrating. I've worked with people who get choices about things like contributions or health care plans, but who, every single time, every single year, choose the options that maximize monthly take home pay... but net them less total money because of how much they end up spending out of pocket on chiropractors and so on. There's no point in arguing with them. They see big number, they want big number. But they pay more and earn less.
I'd rather all my money go to the medical professionals I choose, than to save a few bucks going to a selected doctor, receive only approved care, and fund a corporation of fraudsters. Cut out the meddling middle man.
@@Svenne-man-1880 I pay a water bill and a separate tax on gas to cover road repairs and public school is a nightmare after third grade it's a glorified daycare and a more efficient private replacement should have already been implemented. Honestly just undo the Wilson and Johnson tax hikes and I would be happy as a clam.
Yeah I know how that is, I went to a shell station this morning before work, got a breakfast spicy chicken sandwich, a small can of pringles and a large coffee, and the shit was $27.84.
That's why I buy groceries and eat in the rig. I only fuel at loves so I get 3 points per gallon of fuel and around 50-60 gallons a day those points add up for quick snacks that are free to me as well as free showers
Ricky should be glad he's only paying for that dozer monthly and not weekly. Burnt it to the ground on a personal project. Par for Ricky and Pablo for sure. Lol
Am I the only one who did the math on the hours he worked? That would be 84 hours a week not including holidays and time off. So I would estimate his true number to be in the 87-90 range, Ricky’s a workaholic that’s absolutely insane
Is that atruck coming in on to wheels some grinding fixinto be pleasin abd squezin the pet fox if its around that truck is fast in albam and back in flashem time
Best deal in all of the restaurant industry is the Wendy's 'biggie bag' (used to be the four for $4)- drink, fries, nuggets and a doublestack sandwich for $5... It's a solid meal
@@Red14998 I thought so too. but that is very simplistic in how you view "calories" Your body has to first be able to break down those nutrients into what you call "calories" "You can't outwork a bad diet" Fructose is a very common extract to replace "natural" sugar except the problem with High-Fructose Corn Syrup takes a TON of energy to break down into a useable glucose. Fats are the same, especially Transfats because your body has NO USE for it, it'll ignore the break down phase and just leave it in. THat's why a lot of Americans are fat, obese and diabetic. Eating FAKE food.
Being from central Arkansas I can say the only thing keeping me from spending whole paychecks at sonic is all the damn high school kids lollygagging in the stalls
Ok, before these amateur tax advisors jump on here, please read this: 1) Overtime is taxed as ordinary income. There is no special tax rate for overtime. There is no special place on the 1040 or 1040EZ to report overtime. 2) If someone works overtime, more is often withheld for taxes because the computer is calculating your annual pay from that single check. If you don't normally get paid that much, you'll get it back as a tax refund when you file your 1040. 3) The US uses a progressive tax system. As someone earns enough to cross over into a new marginal tax rate, only the income above that threshold is taxed at the new higher rate.
would love to see a video one day where ole saftey man gets at least one good prank on ricky at least once no hard feeling to ricky but... it would be funny
