Dang dude they sound so smooth. I ride 78a 63mm hawk wheels and they are way too heavy for tricks so I think I’m a buy these. They are significantly smaller, and right in the middle durometer so they seem like they cruise well and do tricks well. Can t wait to get them :)
the only real difference you´ll notice is that soft wheels do not slide well, so grind where your wheel touches the obstacle are harder and you cannot powerslide or revert as well. in my experience, the added impact felt upon landing is irrelevant unless you jump gaps. I tell ya, if soft wheels could slide, everyone would ride them, cause they are so much smoother to right and ignore small pebbles.
Cactus Jack both are great on different surfaces, I feel the 86a is a better all around wheel but not the best at any aspect specifically. If you want cruising wheels go 78a if you want something you can do some revert tricks on or slide go with a harder wheel.
