+Bronco75 This is the only Shoei helmet I've used and yes, compared to the other helmets I've owned, this one has the smallest amount of space between my mouth and the front of the helmet; the mic was practically in my mouth. I can't say this is the case for all Shoei helmets, though.

+Bronco75 Hey bud, just some input from someone who has had the same kind of problem. I have a modular helmet and like alot of Shoei helmets I don't have alot of room in-front of my mouth. What I use instead of a Sena is a bluetooth called Uclear, which is actually boomless and has its microphones on the ear piece. I really recommend looking it up if you don't have much room for a mic in your helmet. They also link up to any other headset on the market.

+Bronco75 Do not buy the Icon Variant (Dual Sport). Every motovlogger uses it for style points. It has terrible wind noise, pulls you really hard when you are doing highway riding, and isn't Snell certified (so you sacrifice safety).

+WALTERRIFIC Thanks for the video(s)! I just got this helmet and took it for a quick ride tonight with my mic tucked near the cheek pad. (I have the lapel mic do it with Dan recommends in his motovlog tutorial) and the wind noise was horrible on the mic even though it was amazingly quiet on inside the helmet for me! With the shield closed even worse at anything over 10 mph :( I would deal with the mic in my mouth if it sounded as good as in your video at speed. I was wondering where you put yours.. Any tips? :) I ride a crf250l dual sport so i am upright but I had the vent closed and chin guard thing on.. I will go through some trial and error tests this weekend but figured I would ask first and maybe save me some time! Thanks again for the videos! Thoroughly entertaining :)

+Jekyll The jackass Craiglist -> Honda CBs, Kawasaki GPZs, Suzuki GS450, just a few, CBs are great variety, from 125 to 750 I belive, GPZ are 400, 500 and 900cc. They will be easy to work on as they are old Japanesse bike. If You want to do it with sports bike, just don't. It is too easy to ruin great bike with modifying it, just return it to its former glory (Older GSX-R, first SRADs etc.)
