Im just thankful I did it when we got the X26P. We got Taser 7 last year, and I definitely do not envy our newer hires who took that ride.

I would absolutely take this over spray every single time. This sucks, but it only sucks for five seconds lol. I’ve never seen anyone pee or poop, but I would recommend emptying all relevant orafaces prior to…better safe than sorry

@@justapatrolman4246 lol - on the scale from 1 to 10 - 1 being tame and 10 being the worst - where would you place the pain from this ? Do they still require a medic to remove the barbs? i know this might be diff from state to state .

It’s a very strange sensation. The only thing that I can equate it to is playing with a medical TENS unit (you can get them on Amazon) on an extremely high setting. It is more nerve racking and scary than it is painful from what I can remember. If we’re comparing the pain to a broken bone then it’s not even close. I guess it feels like a cramp that’s very sudden and attacks your entire body

@@justapatrolman4246 Funny you should compair it to a TENS machine. My dad used to have one to help with pain and we sneeked it into school one day - i always remember getting a friend to hold one pad in one hand and one in the other and turning the system on and they could not let go ! Im glad there was no pants issues haha .

That sounds like a cool class. We don’t have anything like that here. Is it a college class? The taser sucks but it only sucks for five seconds. A gunshot wound would suck for much longer depending on location I think lol!

I’m glad I found your channel. you have a wonderful opportunity to show people what police officers are really like. Also I think your police vlogs are a great idea, I would love to hear some of the stories you have both funny and serious. LEO‘s are the most inspirational people I know. The bravery and love you have to have for your communities just to go to work every day and serve some pretty ungrateful people.

@@justapatrolman4246 question, what state became the fourth? I'm writing a list of states down in order, when they became states, in the month, day, and year. I'm following a history book but it's not very specific on a lot of them.

I work in public sector contracting and have duties that are law enforcement and security related. And my preferred less lethal option is made of wood and requires no battery. I think it’s highly efficient for that reason and many other reasons. Just my opinion and preference

It looks pretty bad when we hit people with sticks lol
