Honor skin sounds like an actual incentive to behave properly. As it stands right now you get key shards every other day and once you hit a milestone you get a capsule with….more key shards, why?

Dabbing may be outdated, but it's still incredibly hilarious to me. Seeing Aurelion Sol, who is also an outdated meme, being used for the new dab emote, is peak comedy. Anyways, rumor has it that Aurelion is getting a rework. I'm looking forward to it (in the hopes he becomes more relevant than a "nerf him pls rito" meme), but I'm also curious (and a little scared) of how he may turn out. Any thoughts? @@TaconIStenen Supposedly I've heard the opposite; lots of people are wanting to keep the E and change the Q+W. I think his Q+W are why he's getting reworked; if they're buffed he's overpowered, and if they're nerfed he's useless. They're very fickle abilities that rely heavily on whatever patch he's on. I can understand your pain though; they're very unique and fun abilities to play with. I do think his E should also get tweaked though. Maybe not fully reworked, but changed a little bit.
i think we need 3 ranked queues, Solo , (1 player) flex (2/3 players for premade) full team (5players) being a duo and 3 people vs a full stsck team is very taxing
But is nt group of four and above deactivated or am i wrong does it only apply to four and no I do not think that is the right choice because part of leuge is the randomness of your teammates that makes it fun. Like Sivir top in flex xD.
I'm a support player, who's been duo with a friend of mine. We're so used to play with each other now that we can play without even communicating. I'd be so sad if i couldn't go ranked with him. Botlane is a lane you play as 2, so playing with strangers (especially low elo where 90% of players dont know what to do) is frustrating more than anything.

Solo only queue hard destroys any silver/gold/plat support mains… playing with random adc can be such a frustrating coinflip especially if you’re trying to climb
Guess im not playing ranked anymore. Solo playing in league isn’t as fun as playing with friends and if I am going to play stressful as hell ranked, I’m playing with friends or not at all
In my opinion making solo duo solo only will make a lot of players stop playing ranked entirely instead of playing flex since everyone has made solo duo the important one and riot has not given us a reason to play flex. Also I doubt that boosting will stop since a challenger can just log in to their friends b3 account and boost them that way.
Correct. But will be much slower to boost accounts now. In Duo you can boost 2 Accounts at the same time (Just let the other play a simple champ(Lulu,Yuumi,Nami) while you pick the harder carry champ (Yi,Twitch,Jinx,Yasuo,Yone)) and can rely on nearly permawinning bot/jng. But in solo you can boost 1 Account at a time (doubling the time) and you need to hope your supp know how to play around you. Example random stats: To boost from 1 rank to another you need between (1-2 days) You have to do 4 Accounts from Silver 3 to Plat 4 (Silver -> Gold -> Plat) (So around 3-6 Days per account) In duo you can simply put 2 Accounts together with a friend (even if he is a noob) and in around 6-12 Days you have 4 Account Boosted with a much % winrate since you play with someone and tell them who play and how. In Solo only, you have to play 4 Accounts making them all to plat 4 in around (12 - 24 days) with a % winrate way lower since you have to rely on random people who my troll your bot or jng.
It eliminates duo boosting which is still huge. This doesn't solve account buying. This doesn't solve account boosting solo. Less boosting options also makes boosting services more scarce and it will potentially increase prices which will further decrease boosting. And the incentive to duo was always flawed from the get go when it comes to climbing the ladder with a friend. You get better when you play alone. You played with a duo either to compensate for insecurities and false narratives on why you might suck or because you wanted to have a leg up in strategy and communication which falsely attributes your duo in solo skill rather than your actual skill. There is a reason they eliminated that from Master+. And Flex queue still gives you the skins and high level of play, especially if more people play it + lesser queue times, so I don't see why duos should leave if they enjoy playing competitively together. "Everyone has made solo duo the important one" is purely because you duoing was done in solo as a priority and again, false mental narratives. Now that it won't exist, duoing in Flex would seem just as valid as playing solo. It's the right move. And if players leave, then it's better for everyone, including Riot, because it will make the playground less toxic. If you played duo in ranked, you made the games unfair in many respects and it pushed many false narratives even to those playing solo, especially in lower ranks. Duo should never have existed imo (I never understood why it's there and I've been playing ranked since early season 3). It's a fantastic change with pretty much no downsides. If people stop playing League for that reason, well, good. It means they didn't enjoy the game in the first place and were wasting their time. If you play the game only for the specific reason of playing duo in solo matchmaking and that's it, then you didn't actually care about the game. Releasing people from this cycle is a blessing in disguise.
it will solve smth but as you sad, theres basicaly no reason to play flex competetively and i feel like theres nothing to reach there if you dont have group of 5 players, i dont find flex as fun as playing with my friend in the main competetive mode where you can actually achive smth
If there is only solo queue, then Flex should require you to be duo or more, cuz it sucks when people int in flex cuz they wanna try smth new. Normal is for something new

Idea: every year riot should give the honorable skin to whatever champion players got reported on the most. To hopefully discourage the toxic riven, yasuo, etc mains from being toxic consistently.
Your comment doesn't really make sense. In order to decrease toxicity amongst notoriously toxic mains, shouldn't we give honorable skins to the LEAST reported champions? Like, if toxic players got rewarded for being toxic, what is the point in giving out honorable skins? I can see what you're trying to say, like "make the honorable skin go to a toxic player base so they will behave better in the hopes they get that skin", but that's just unfair to other players who already DO behave. If honorable skins go towards the LEAST reported groups, I'm sure a lot of toxic players would start behaving better in the hopes their champion gets elected for next year's honorable skin. A guaranteed skin is not a guarantee that the players of the skin will behave.

it will have its issues, but i think it it will be better overall Solo queue will be truly solo, and players wont have to deal with the premade advantages there Flex will have more of a reason for people to play. there will definitely be some major issues, but I feel most of them could be dealt with over tim.
The issue with removing duoQ for boosting problems means that flex pick is going to be a boosted cespit. If they get rid of it for solo, then literally everyone will just make flex feel terrible to play with massive skill disparity almost guaranteed
It's already kind of horrible. In EUW Flex myself and a friend noticed some "sketchy" players in our game. They were a three-pre, but 2 bronzes and a master. The master was being boosted by these two bronze accounts who would go into ranked flex as 3 accounts, and then 2 afk while the other runs it down to some degree and then switch it around so they don't get auto-banned for AFKing/inting. They do it to bring down the elo so boosting someone is 10x easier and within days they could get someone to challenger. Looking deeper into it, at the time I think around 3-5 challengers at the very top of the flexQ ladder were boosted through this, I think either #1 or #2 on the ladder were boosted by this as well if my memory is correct. I don't know if it's still a thing happening or not, but flexQ definitely isn't unknown to boosting. It's rare to meet but exists. To add further, I think removing duoQ is sad, at times I quite enjoy to play duoQ with a friend around the same level and they like it too to "have a consistent teammate for once" type of thing. On top of that it's even sadder for botlane as I feel sometimes duoQ adc support is necessary for some people's mentals when it comes to climbing.

Personally I think it will be Zaun- twitch (as the one tricks are edgy and because they already have his camouflage in the game with the teemo in wild rift) Bilgewater- Pyke Noxus- could be 3 in my opinion. Mordekaiser (cuz he takes you to Brazil), Vlad( possible chance with the crimson Evelyn skin), and probably one of the best chances of it being Kayn (as imo he has the more unique play style which goes along with league champs that have made it in to wild rift or are coming)
now i mostly soloQ however i dont mind getting duos in the game.. the huge desparity can be avoided if they just gave us voice coms. this reminds me of all the changes riots been tyring to do like chemtech... removing all chat.. these are changes that can just harm the overall game and make people leave..

That could be a possibility. But again, after the player gets boosted to a certain division, how will they keep up by themselves after they are no longer boosted? I highly doubt a boosted player could keep their rank that high if they played ranked afterwards.
@@jamiefox actually they probably will have high mmr, so they can maintain Diamond 4 0 LP for a couple of months playing 1 game for month to stop the decay. But I agree that most of the problems will be for Silver to Gold where there is no decay. Still, most of the player base are in those elos, so an increase in smurfs there is going to annoy a lot of people
They really need to implement report in friend list. I've been added several times already by people who behave 'nicely' only for my whole family to be cursed in ways I have never even imagined
i wanna talk about wildrift: so for the void event im pretty sure we are getting malzahar and kassadin as they are important figures in the void story. (mostly malz tho) also Pyke is most certainly coming and Urgot does have a high chance and i do not mind more unique champions like them, For gameplay i definetly want more runes from league like lethal tempo and dark harvest since they are pretty important runes in league, for skins i want more Battle Academia skins and maybe some anima squad skins since they are clearly superior, for champions i want i think Syndra should come to the game, they explained that a way for a champion to come to the game is to either be in a big shared event with pc like k/da or sentinels of light, or if their gameplay is really different and unique to the game, there are many champions that have incredibly unique and meta-changing gameplays and syndra is one of them with her kinda simple but also complicated kit, i really want her to come to wildrift as she is one of my faves in pc but you never know.
One of the reasons why I play wildriftf to see all the champions hd model and their skins and pose😅 also they make new feature that can change the glorious skin champion costume like Evelyn tail weapons so I'm guessing they can make new oriana ball to, because glorious skin so far have oriana, Tryndamere and jinx so probably they can change tryndamere blade, jinx guns possibly 🤔?
Wild Rift new champs idea: You mentioned pyke theme in the background and also mentioned project theme aswell. Now my thought is that for zaun:Warwick(also Ekko) noxus:Mordekaiser and bilge:Pyke. Its teasing a new project event and the only champs from Noxus Bilge and Zaun that have project skin are Pyke,Morde,Warwick. I can also be super wrong but it my thought anways.
As much as I hate it, the edgy noxus champ is probably Talon lmao. And they will probably only put mordekaiser when there are already many champs in WR since he is buggy as hell But yeah I really like if they put Morde in aswell but it's unlikely

I think that theres no reason to play flex bcs theres basicaly nothing to achive if you dont have group of 5 ppl, Solo/Duo is the main competetive mode, if we are talking about smurfing and boosting, theres no way how to fix it if they dont add some kind of email+ip system that would tell if you have an acc or not, and i would solve the problems with divisions that way that we could play only in the same or really close division like B1 with S4 or S3 just a really close division
We need them to verify both the phone number and email regularly, say a monthly basis. Have a hwid check( yes all three are bypassable but that makes it harder).
15:56 it was not really other roles dominating the meta as controllers have always been essential in just about any team comp but rather the controller meta was heavily one sided as riot has a top down approach to game balance and at the highest level it was essentially just astra and viper in the controller role so riot buffed other controllers so they’d be viable in the current meta and worth taking that slot over astra (vipers kinda her own thing among controllers so she stays but astra and the others fill the same role prompting the changes)
im fine with no duo q, my one friend that was good at league ghosted me 6 months ago, and the rest of my friends suck at league. so now i have an excuse to not play ranked with them

Ranked shouldn't be taken that seriously either. It's a game. But really, plenty of people do take Flex seriously. Otherwise, why not just play draft or blind? If you're scared of inters in Flex (say, 3 inters alongside your duo), how is that different from the average Bronze/Silver game? From my experience, most low elo games are feeding fests, and these people don't even know each other. So instead of being fun group feeding, it's a bunch of strangers screaming about how much the other guy sucks more than they do. Honestly, I look forward to this change. If people are going to feed in a serious game mode, it might as well be a little entertaining instead of completely frustrating..
@@nomoretwitterhandles well I think flex rank doesn't matter at all but I still like playing it cause I'm actually playing with enemies that are around my rank. Also flex players care at least a little bit about the game and don't hardcore troll pick or smth like that
@@zuuj4403 If your flex rank is higher than your solo/duo rank, it will show above your solo/duo rank on your profile (or to friends when they hover over you). It absolutely does matter. Or we can use the argument "nothing really matters". Because really, what is ranked queue at the end of the day? Who even cares about rank? etc etc.
i think flex is way better, if you want to play with a friend, why not with all of them at the same time? it also shows how unbalaced it is me playing with my friend 2 elos above mine smurfing
Necrit, you missed something about Shen, it was leaked that his w will be able to target allies, by that I mean instead of going next to your Allie to q and w, you will target your w to an allie and the qw combo will be automatically made, same as jarvans eq, instead of pressing e then q, you press double e and makes the combo for him, which make Shen even more of a support
And as we say this i got a game where my top laner was a ahri who whent ad iteam in a ranked game making it impossible to win as she fed the hell out of a nasus. Still thought this kind of player still appear in ranked and make impossible to rank up as i got demoted cause in one game i lost and the second i get this kind of player getting insta demoted as i just got promoted

I know it sounds like a small number. But if 5% of players are consistently toxic that means 1 in 20 players. Not accounting for variability between ranks, that comes out as 1 player every 2 games. So half your games will have a toxic teammate - with a further 50/50 as to if they are on your team or not.
.. you get rewards based on beeing honored from people outside your party means, only the hyper carry gets rewarded basicly, 99% of the time you can lead the team and honors still goes to the guy who got kills while using you as a piggyride
I'm a SEA player, in the Philippines to be exact. Some of us here get bad internet most of the time and I think Riot should not punish players who become AFK when they are playing with a premade party. Like, they are not trolling nor griefing, they just have unfortunate connections. They are playing with their friends, so nobody even reports them. The automatic leaver buster should not apply in premade lobbies.

I just hope they will make something like: if you are 2 premades you will fight vs a team where there are ONLY 2 premades. Cuz if you are only 2 premades and you are fighting a 5 man squad than no thks I rather play normals or only Solo Queue.
It would be nice that if you buy an skin, instead of getting a Chroma option, they give us the option to customize things like hair color, clothing, weapons and maybe skin effect colors. Of course, this option would only be available in something called "The Workshop"
I know many who duo que so their games are less toxic, league players are toxic alone too so i don't think this makes big changes expect taking that comfort away from some players . Boosting sure will go down. BUT it will bring it to the fact if you are player who likes play flex with other people, you will get more flamed about being boosted in flex and "none will care about rank anyway because its just flex"
