I know now that 1/6 people living in Luxembourg are born in Portugal. Even more are born in Luxembourg that are of Portuguese origin. Lately I also see a lot of Italians here. People are migrating here in masses. And all of it does not count cross border workers.

@@Boretheory Yes we were part of the Swedish empire at the time and we fought along Swedes in their wars untill they lost us in the Finnish war which was part of the Napoleonic wars. In that war we Finns defended against Russians in Finland with only little swedish help but still won many battles in Ostrobothnia but it wasn't enough and Sweden lost us to Russia. That was also pretty much the end of the Swedish empire.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics puts Australia at 25,778,507 and Stats NZ puts NZ population at 5,122,600. So combined we have less people than Tokyo and a similar number to Jakarta.

7:13 Actually around only 30% people lives in cities rest in towns or villages. And in place like Villages Burgers and Pizzas are hard to find. Most of the villagers do very hard work in farms or go on construction site etc and people avoid eating these junk food as it doesn't gives that vitamins and protiens they needed which a simple Indian diet gives.

Story of the Korea. Koreans were going through different names for a while when they were United but when the Europeans settled, they didn't call them the modernized name but the name from the 300 year past Karay. When the Americans occupied What is now days South Korea, they engilished that name for Korea.

Well, Japan wasn't a dictatorship when the graph starts and wasn't poor either. Brazil, South Africa, and Mexico are a lot poorer than a lot of the Asian countries and also have their share of crime and dictatorship. I think Asian cuisine is just a lot more healthy than European and American cuisine.

@@mavislenya1110 Still, China and India are comparable to Brazil, Mexico, and South Africa in poverty level. Also, the crime rate is a lot higher in the latter. But of course, you are right, poverty, dictatorship, and crime are certainly important factors in determining obesity rates.

The chart at 2:20 is heads of *government*, not heads of *state*. If you go by HoS, the UK has had the same one since 1952, and Germany's is actually Frank-Walter Steinmeier since 2017. It just so happens in the US that HOS and HOG are the same position (POTUS), but in many countries (especially Europe), those are different things, with the HoS being a more ceremonial position and the HoS having more actual legal power.

I'm from Guangzhou and it's surprising to see my city ranked #1 megacity. I always thought it's the 3rd biggest city in China after Beijing and Shanghai. They're probably using the metro population, and the metro area is huge, roughly the size of New Jersey. The urban population is about 13 million, which is much smaller than Beijing and Shanghai, both with 20 million+ urban population.

Buddy, think again. The map is showing the name of the country contrarily to popular beliefs. Taiwan’s foreign name is still Taiwan, so for this map’s sake, we use it’s other uncommon name ‘Zhongguo’ You can’t deny the fact that Taiwan is another China. Officially, you even have the same name
