This is a documentary of my first solo thru-hike attempt of the River to River Trail through Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois. On day six, I start at the backpacker's campsite in Ferne Clyffe State Park. I hike through Ferne Clyffe, walk lots of roads, and cross I-57. Finally, I make camp about 2 miles past Panther Den Wilderness.
