When they started looking at the drapery and upholstery fabric, I laughed, but then remembered that I made my high school prom dress from drapery fabric. Later in the clip I realized that my dress was in fact the same print as Don Cherry's suit except green rather than pink.
I was reading about the time Don threw out the first pitch at the Jays game in 2016 for getting everyone to vote Josh Donaldson into the allstar game. After when he was relaxing with a cold pop in his suite he heard roars of laughter from the crowd and on the Jumbo-tron was a game being played. "Couch or Don Cherry suit?" They would show a close-up of fabric and everyone would be shouting if it was a 70's couch or a Don Cherry suit. Then it would zoom out and be the reveal. Grapes was laughing, he even got some of them wrong!
I love hearing Grapes on Coach's Corner. Because I'm a New Jersey guy I watch CC before I go to work on RU-vid. Don is a very unique and awesome commentator that I always enjoy.
Cherry was referring to downtown Toronto which half of the people down there need a translator to survive and couldn't pick out a poppy in a flower line up.He was 100% correct with what he said.
wohoo that is a cool suit ..funky...there are actually pretty good fabric drape because of the different material and texture and design it has.Great for costuming.

@@christianstarke1117 As angry as I am and as much as I love Don and coaches corner, let's be fair... It's a different broadcasting company and that lady came on and apologized. If Don would have just read a scripted apology then he'd still have his job and we'd still have coaches corner.
