Road Trip To My Granddaddy Hall Old Family Home Place 13 Children In Adrian Ga. 

I hope your grandson Cody saves this video so when he has children and they get old enough he can let them have a road trip with their great grandmother.

I know you are prepared but we don’t want you to come to any harm at all. Awww, Miss Helen, when you said you’d like to come back to your grandfather’s house and do some chopping. You tug at our heartstrings with just about everything you say. What a treasure you are.

Ms. Helen please take someone with you and please use a hiking stick to help with balance and to test ground before you step down.

Last Sept 2020 when you searched for the grave I asked the Find a Grave community to put virtual flowers on his grave in your name. At least 8 people did that if you look for it.

Ms. Helen, I loved this video! You are an amazing gutsy woman to venture on your own. I cannot believe the house is still standing. I took a trip with my siblings to Puerto Rico where I was born all the way in the woods. We lived in five different homes, and only one house is standing, the one prior to the last one, so many hurricanes over the years. This was the best trip I've taken; we cried and laughed remembering the good old days. I moved to USA when I was 10 years old. The trip gave my kids a chance to see for themselves and appreciate their blessings. Life is good, is the little things that are a blessing. Thanks Ms. Helen.

Good Morning....Reminiscing and recollection.... :) We see it as an empty ole house but you bring it to life with your stories......So easy to imagine kids playing on the property...I guess by the time your grandfather remarried... almost all the kids with your grandmother were grown.... That is a lot of kids.... Guess we know what they did on cold winter nights LOL... Were your great grandfather and grandfather farmers ? I would assume they owned quite a bit of property as the two houses weren't that far apart...as the crow flies... Isn't it funny how as a child things do seem bigger... So glad you were able to visit and take us along..... I also enjoy hearing stories of your past... I give you credit for traveling alone... I'd be panicking at the start.... trying to figure how I was going to turn around...even before I got to the end.... :) Nice to see the two gravestones in the woods haven't been vandalized through the years... I hope someone in your family takes an interest in your family tree and treasures these videos...and keeps the memories going...The house your in now... did you own it before you married? How old were you when you married ? Hello again sweet lady. I enjoyed going on the country road trip with you. I must say you're one brave woman. I would be afraid of snakes and spiders and other critters getting on me . And then, I don't believe I would be able to get out of my car not knowing who might be hanging around and sneaking up on me. I know you said you're prepared . I am thankful you got back home safely. I'm not trying to discourage you from doing your country road trips I truly enjoy watching them. I just worry about you. Like I said earlier, you're one brave woman! I am a Hutcheson and I think we might be cousins. I started watching your videos making crafts with concrete. Then tonight RU-vid suggested this video. I was surprised to see you driving around in areas I visited earlier this year 2021 when I went to to Adrian for a Hutcheson family reunion. I am not sure but one of those churches you were at with cemetery behind might have been the church I was at for the reunion. I have Kea in my family tree through the Hutcheson line. I live in Florida. My grandfather's family is from your area in the video. Soperton, Adrian, Dublin etc Emanuel County, Truetlin County etc. I love your video! Oh so sad those old buildings are left to ruin but so amazing they are still standing. Too bad walls can't talk. Love your sharing of your younger days. I didn't quite understand what kind of vine was in front of your grandparents house. Looking forward to watching another video tomorrow. I saw this video today September 7th. and I had to see all the way. You transported me with you all the way there. I live in Wisconsin, but use to visit Georgia quite a bit, as my daughter use to live there. I do love it. We used to go and drive on those dirt roads deep in the woods. It's beautiful. There is nothing better than living in the Country. I was born in Puerto Rico and came to US. Very young. Now I'm almost 76 And like you am planning to go and bring one of my grandsons to show him where I came from. You inspired me so much and I smiled, laugh and also got very nervous and scared for you all alone around your grandparents house. I was praying for you to not gotten stock on those water holes You are such such a very special lady God bless you always and keep you healthy and strong for a very long time to come. Oh to go back to the homes we grew up in is bitter sweet memories😌 Good or bad it’s memories to share with family. Now there’s freeways and high rises or strip malls. It’s so sad to see beautiful old houses waste away like that. Pines are coming up so close to the house it will be just a memory before to long. I imagine there is lumber to die for still in the house also. It would be cool to be able to tear it down and use the beautiful lumber to build something at a local park and dedicate it to your family.
