I always found it strange people ranking Karl Malone over Charles Barkley. Malone was a choker. The Mailman doesn't deliver on Sundays. The paternity suit against Karl Malone about his kid came out in 1996, at the height of Malone's NBA career. It's public record that Malone and the family settled the case out of court in 1997. The family never brought charges against Malone when he was in college (mid-1980s), the mother didn't pursue any action until the paternity test 10 years later (mid-1990s), all parties settled the case (circa 1997) and now Malone and the child (who played in the NFL) have a relationship. As for why it's not talked about, it's because it was a case settled nearly 30 years ago! The national media covered this story in the mid-1990s when it happened. And of course Malone can't speak on the matter -- settlement cases usually have non-disclosure clauses that prevent people from speaking about such cases. In other words, it's not news. So if the situation doesn't bother Malone, his son and the son's family, then why in the hell does it bother a bunch of clowns on RU-vid?

People have known about Karl Malone's past for several years. If he was playing in today's NBA, there's no way anybody would allow him in the league. Could care less if he went to the All-Star game or not People act like he's going to be playing or participate in games. His past is really foul There's no question about that but at the same time it is his business. But at the same time everybody else is judged for their personal business. So I honestly don't have a problem with it either way. If people want to trash him about his past, I get it. He's not the only former NBA player with an alledged dark past similar to Karl Malone's just wasn't as young, 1 in which is presently coaching a team in the NBA. Then there are others with a dark past just different shades of dark from alcohol issues on & off the court as well as legal issues of DWI & PI. Gambling issues that were actually rumored to have played a part in the death of a players parent. The media that were able to get their stories out, help bring unwanted attention to the league & certain player/s. The attention had gotten so big & hot that the league had to make a decission in which they came up with a present champion &/or star player deciding to retire from the league until the rumored gambling debt possibly the reason of why a player lost a parent. & apparently it worked. What was once 1 of the BIGGEST sports connected to crime stories it was quietly just like the fake retired player disappearedaway from the league. & when the time was right of not hearing those rumorse anymore & hoping it was enough to brainwash fans of nothing ever occured which for the most part it did.
