He's not wrong. And the pop you hear when a knife is to dull or say a screwdriver is used, it sounds like someone popping a bag of chips in the other room. But the doors too both rooms are open.
And the cops will literally tell you how safe nyc is. Yeah okay bud. Legit just like the markarth guard telling you to keep your nose clean and markarth is safe.
I've met Rob and got to speak with him alone for a few minutes. He is one of the most grounded, kind, patient and real people I've ever met in my whole life, you can tell right away that he's VERY bright and well versed and I've met a LOT of famous people, rockstars, even the King of Jordan, which isn't saying much, but in all honesty, Rob is a really VERY GOOD MAN.
@@SoulDelSol I met Hussein bin Talal the King of Jordan from 1952-1999. The thing that impressed upon me most is that he was VERY kind. I was allowed to sit in his limousine during a thunderstorm in New York City while I was visiting there with my parents in 1980, (I was 13). While I was in his limo, he wanted to know if I was having fun in NYC, what I'd seen and done so far, what I liked best, etc. We visited for about 30 minutes. He was VERY nice to me! (I didn't know who he was while we were visiting, my mother told me afterwards.) *I think it's cool that you asked!
I grew up as a child in queens ny. 83/89. Crack epidemic, shootings, horrible cops still walking the beat, hookers etc. that was just walking home from school 😂 Shootings and robberies was not out of the norm. Several times I ran home cause some dirt bags tried to steal my sneakers or jacket. Watched friends get robbed in broad day light. Place was a sht hole of a city. He is not even making this nonsense up. It’s all true.
The crack epidemic was all a CIA psy-op. The crack was ran into the country through Arkansas via, the governor at the time, Bill Clinton. He was made president as for cooperating. Just look into it, it's all there.
@@mikeyd8474 definitely a movie. He's already got some characters left over from house of 1000 corpses. I'm picturing the hammer scene closing the movie, sirens approaching while the credits roll.
John Boyce I got stabbed in the chest. Collapsed lung and other damage. The only thing I was yelling was let me die. It hurt so bad. Yea. You scream horrible shit when stabbed.
@@Gcal1956 My left lung and pulmonary artery were punctured by an ice pic. I passed out about 30 seconds after it happened . Honestly didn't feel anything. Flatlined 4 times tho. The healing process was painful. It's been 10 years and theres days I drop to my knees it hurts so bad. Glad you recovered 👍👍👍
The Movies from him are not really that special. I mean i love them, bui would never describe it like that. I would describe most Hooliwood Movies like that.
Rob: "I witnessed a murder" Joe: "Were you kinda pumped?" I remember an episode where he had a bunch of gore videos ready on his phone too. Joe is into some dark shit.
@@membersonly807 Cant recall which episode, but they were talking about the video where a guy got mauled by a bear. You should be able to find it with the right keyword search.
There's something I never thought I'd hear Rob Zombie say 25yrs ago. "....go to the farmers market it's beautiful. " Time does crazy shit to one's perceptions
I remember years back going to middle school one morning, I walk two blocks and there’s a guy in his car dead with bullet holes in his windshield. Went to school then went back home later on and the whole block was taped off and cops everywhere lol. Gotta love ny
Big cities are like comment sections, there’s so many people that it seems like no one has a face, so people don’t feel accountable for the crimes they commit just like a nasty comment
Wait....his movies are good? Unmmm think of actual cinematography then compare to his movies and you’d think differently. Maybe if he tightened his story lines and casted good actors they’d be semi-okay.
rubber band man if anything, the opposite. The public schools are horrendous. But he’s right. After living in NYC nothing will surprise you anymore. Things that would horrify the rest of the country isn’t even notable in nyc. Naked painted man crabwalking down the sidewalk? Not even a second glance...
I want to argue that Haverhill is not THAT boring, but then again I am 20 years old and I just now learned Rob Zombie is from Haverhill. So maybe it is a little boring...
The darkness of the cold stone and steel of the city will always be attractive. It is a conduit. Personally, I think living in a small town is better than a city, don't take it for granted.
shawn Money yeah I went through a phase where I was obsessed with rich porter , alpo and AZ stories. All those street legends. They were all kids man no older than 23 walking around with millions smh that era will never Happen again
You know, he's right when he said people scream weird when they get stabbed. Another weird thing is throat slitting is not silent like they make it seem in the movies, I worked with a guy that got his throat slashed half open at work. A cable broke off a piece of equipment and went whipping around in the air, caught this guy on the side of his neck. It tore some vocal cords but not all of them, so he was able to let out this sound. It was like a half gurgle, half deer bleat. Blood everywhere, guy died before ambulance got there. Way fucked up but Rob is right, once you see enough of that kind of thing it doesn't seem to bother you as much as it should
I’ve lived my whole life in Haverhill (20 years), and I am just now learning Rob Zombie is from here. Its not THAT boring either I mean, the annual Crackhead Olympics have been going on here 5 years strong and running.
I was that guy who had to clean the mess up after the police remove, most of the body, and declare the area no longer a crime scene. Biohazardous waste recovery is a crazy job. I actually stopped because it started to make me become bitter towards the human race.
@@dtown3847 Politics dictate policies and policies can it a way govern what is acceptable and not acceptable in a society. For example, a lenient law enforcement and reduced police budgets encourages the rise of criminal activity.
@@dutchmastah07 Joe was talking and Jamie chimed in kind of cutting him off and Joe shoots a glance at him like "wtf are you doing?" and Jamie's says "sorry."
Raphy TheMighty fuck yeah it was. I read something the other day that Scorsese hid his camera in the back of the car to get all the window driving scenes in Taxi Driver and all of it was legit New York bullshit happening unscripted, for most of the driving scenes at least
It's getting worse but not even remotely close to 70's-80's NYC. There used be 2000-3000 homicides a year back then lol even this year with uptick in violence it'll probably barely crack 300-350 Max.
@@ironmantis25 I Will say Gulliani cleaned city up.. even if he personally destroyed my sex fetish of whores, peep show house and theathers where people had sex on stage
I mean if you had bothered to watch the whole video then you'd know that he DID witness a murder.... His first day in New York just like the title says(story starts at 3:30). The first minute is a completely different story.
Man...I really miss that New York. I remember going to 42nd street in the 70s and it was INSANE!!!!! New York city was literally an asphalt jungle...survival of the fittest in an urban jungle.
Manson and Joe dont really like each other.. Joe went on the End of the world live show where Manson also was... but they had a bit of a thing..because Manson didnt wanna get on stage..so Joe was pretty vocal about it
@@user-gu3ie no shit huh? Well if Joe called him out I suspect he had good reason to. If that hadn't happened though, interviewing that guy would've made for a good podcast..
@@SineEyed well Manson's excuse was he was just to shy to get on stage..even Stanhope tried to get him on..but he just refused.. however..yes.. it would be an amazing podcast with Manson!
@@SineEyed ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-p3kdmOQlqfQ.html this is the live podcast.. somewhere in the first 2 hours they try to get Manson on stage..and both Rogan and Stanhope mock him a bit.... not sure about the timestamps..sorry
Whenever I hear Rob speak I am always astounded at how much of a down to earth chill dude he is. Given his music, image, and movies, you wouldn't think.
My buddy worked with Rob and always said he was the ultimate businessman. Always coming up with new ventures and making them profitable. I have known numerous musicians who were quite different from their on stage image. They are often driven, hard working people, and that is why they succeed.
That's crazy my old boss was at this carnival riot he's talking about I remember he said it was the scariest moment that became a turning point in his life he said it was absolute chaos. he very well may know his mother he lived the carni life an helped set everything up but he told me this story in detail an it was so insane it seemed like a tall tail story an here I am now hearing rob zombie was a kid at this same carni riot lol.
I'm not 100% on that id have to ask him again it just come to mind when I heard R.Z telling his story an I was like holy shit I've heard this from someone before dude's 62 now an real godly man preaching scripture daily said he told god if he got him outta there alive he would change his ways an devote his life to him an the word an sure enough every time I see this man no matter your mood or mindset he has scripture to throw at it. Real good guy foe the most part but he don't miss a beat on spreading the gospel.
@homes before you start talking shit an making assumptions ask yourself what gain would anyone or myself have to lie I'm a grown ass man I know mommy and daddy probably lied to u alot as a child but I don't need your likes or comments or friendship for that matter an have no reason to care what u believe it's not my story for one it's a similar story I heard from a pretty credible person I've done tree work with for years an how he was telling it rang a bell it may have been a completely different carni riot but apparently carnis don't fuck around an I've heard it twice now to verify so go fuck yourself champ nobody cares what u believe bro an keep scrolling.
When I was a kid in the 80’s, we used to go to the peep shows on 42’nd, get drunk on beer in a bag, smoke clove cigarettes, play 3 card Monty, and heckle hookers.
I’ve lived 30 miles from NYC my whole life. It’s nothing like the city itself truly crazy how different it is. My town was far more rural than urban. I just moved to Manhattan, live in East Harlem , truly are something new everyday. I think I’ve seen at least one act of violence a week
Roo Smith not at all it’s honestly a beautiful place you just have to see it from a different perspective. Not beautiful in the same way as my home but beautiful none the less. Also lived in Boulder CO for a short period of time. Loved it there and saw beauty there as well
I saw him at the first Eugene Q-Fest in 2002. My dad took me and my brothers, we were 14 years old.. some girls smoked us out. Rob killed it, even w some technical problems at the start. Haven't seen a better show at the Cuthbert since.
Saw him at ozzfest in 2005 . He headlined the 2nd stage (so you didnt have to have the good tickets to get real close) and we got right up front and rob put on a banger of a show. Helped that he played lots of white zombie.
