Distributing instructions in the assault anchorage after the first landings in Normandy (Gazette Date - 19/12/44)
6/3/45 Captured a German Biber Type midget submarine off Breskens in the Scheldt Estuary. Eleven Bibers had sortied that day. Four were found abandoned along the coast at North Beveland, Knocke, Domberg and Zeebrugge.
One was sunk by gunfire off Westkapelle on 8 March and five vanished.

Simon, Gemma. Dont worry that people are getting bored with you fixing the woodwork. It's a part of the boat that has to be done, and it's not just a boat build. It's about seeing your interaction with each other and problem solving. Robbo, great job. Not the most glamorous thing to have to do but needs must. Also, your job must be brilliant. Scary, but satisfying. Well done mate.

Great respect for you Robbo, glad to see you have a form of release from a tough job. Like to see more, not just for the variety but there is so much to do that is different. The focus on each stage of the repairs is necessary, but a lot of the friendship was not portrayed, even though we could see it was present.

Good going Robbo! It's like any project, the foundations have to be done correctly and that takes time especially on a big boat. So yeah I think at least another year of stringers and frames to go yet. but it has to be done otherwise anything above is a waste of money and time, so getting this stage done is so critical. I wouldn't even put a timescale on jobs like this. Preasure to finnish a task leads to mistakes I have always found. The biggest question I need answering is..... Did you ever find the rat? :)

@Robbo, Hats off to you regarding your "proper" job and Sarinda being a good way to relax. I spent Thirty years in the NHS as a qualified mental health nurse and spent my days off either on my small holding or diving my pals HGV. Helped to keep me sort of sane(ish). Is it just me or does seeing the rotten timber make anyone else think of those Flake chocolate bars. Maybe cadburys should sponser some of the refit.

I do enjoy watching all of your episodes, even the repetitive ones as you progress, but this was a cool treat to have Robbo as the main character! I realize that he does loads of prep work off camera so it was really nice to highlight him for a minute, please do it again soon. It was awesome that he gave us a proper introduction as well, so now we can tease him about all the bad ambulance drivers, lol. Robby, I liked your voice overs when you were doing time lapse when you explained what you were doing - you did good. Gemma and Si, another great episode concerning your boat history project. Can’t wait to see what equipment and tools you put in your smaller shop. It seems everything you both do ends up being great entertainment, even with some of the repetitive repairs. Great to see Robbo again!! We're working on a vintage motorhome, and yes, the flat-bladed screws are terribly annoying!! As are the 'different screw in each hole of a panel. We're going back with at least Phillips-head screws OR hex-head, depending on where the screws are. Oh, yeah, and each project (removing panelling) begets other projects (like plugging cut pipe). It's part of the job!!

I get it Rob, some people don’t understand, but physical labor where you can sit back and SEE what you have accomplished, the final goal is COOL, and it’s good to get out and help others be happy. It’s a great way to spend your free time. And you’re good on camera. Sorry about how Gemma treats ya….but at least the cupboard was heated…

Brilliant episode this week and makes a good change to see what Robbo gets up to on the boat, Robbo mentioned that when he wears a facemask his glasses fog up, well I have the answer for that, next time you see him tell him to get some Calosport spray which not only cleans the lens but also stops fogging of the lens and can be bought on that well known sales channel.
