Robin is very much alive in my mind & in my heart. I watch their videos when they were at tender age. Thus makes me feel he is still around. Always play their music to make my day. Love Robin
I feel the exact same way. Robin's personality and persona just seem to have no end and I feel he is still with us. His unpretentiousness and down to earth attitude just makes you fall in love with him.

Yo que Vi un documental donde se tomó los caracteres de los hermanos ,se sabía que había mucho egos entre Barry y Robin por ser siempre se habló mucho de ellos y se peleaban muy seguidos , y quién los tuvo unidos y siendo intermediario entre sus dos hermanos fue Maurice gibb estaba entre su gemelo y su hermano mayor ,los se vio que el por eso no tuvo una vida fácil en lo personal ,el fue un gran hermano genio musicador instrumentista lo que tocaba le sacaba una melodía ,órgano bajista y así fue sin ser la estrellita del grupo el mejor ,por algo cuando falleció Bee Gees ✨ no siguio .Yo lo admiro y es mi preferidos de los hermanos Gibb 🤍🌟😍😍😍😍😍❤️
@@carmengloriarivera6145When Maurice died Barry was stuck with just Robin. That’s one of the main reasons the Bee Gees ended, I’m sure. Barry and Robin were never close.

I love this interview with Barry and Robin..missed Mo. They were so relaxed and funny..just interacting with Merv so good. So thankful we can see all the neat things like this with the Brothers. They were complete gentlemen at all times. Their music would be just as good if they were a trio of jackasses but they made it easy to like them. If I discover that some entertainer is a douchebag it effects my appreciation of their talent even though it really shouldn't. These guys understood that being asked the same thing over and over was part of their job and never showed any irritation although they may very well have felt some. Just true professionals always.
Is so true they have never said anything bad about anybody they never put each other down they've always been gracious to each other including their brother, Andy. It's so sad to think that all of them if past except for the eldest of all the brothers and watch each one of them go one at a time. I do not know your sister is still alive, she's older than Barry. I do know that soon after the death of Andy the father died of a broken heart they say and he passed away within 2 years but I do believe that the mother is around 97-98 years old and that she is still around. I cannot imagine what her and Barry gone through watching her husband his father and all of his siblings die. Furthermore, to be the oldest one and to watch how they slowly slipped away. How much pain it must be but I always agreed with their politics I like how they always kind of kept quiet but also they're very smart and I will say they own their own catalog at least I know Barry owns their catalog I don't know if they did a third of the 3rd and also he bought but other stars musicians catalogs along with their own He was once asked what a person should doc starting, and he or they replied get a lawyer.
I always love to watch the brothers interviews. They are so articulate, intelligent and great senses of humor. We are so lucky to have these videos to look back on. So wonderful that you share them with us. 💕

Nice to hear something different from this interview rather than their life story that's told in interviews. This is when I'm most in love with Robin, late 70's he was just to die for. How I wish he was still here 😢
Robin was to die for in the late 70's late 80's late90"s and on and on. Anytime he was adorable, sexy, sensual and his lips and smile were also to die for. He was so damn HOT!!

Ahh, as always Barry was wonderful here (what a stunning man), and Robin is thoroughly adorable too. Shame Maurice wasn't in the interview, but I liked that the questions were somewhat interesting too. I also find it funny, looking back on this time, how easily they smoked on TV, and just had cigarettes sitting there on the table to freely take like bar nuts. Thanks for a great video! ❤️

Today I played staying alive and jive talking for my 11 year olds (twin boys) and an 8 year old girl. They loved it ❣️. They were very interested in who died how and when.
I agree, Robin had a very handsome face and the long hair fell a bit more so that you could actually see the face under it all and what beautiful bone structure he did have. He was my favorite, probably because of his singing voice and his silly humor. Very cute and lovable.

Thank you thank you for posting this, I remember watching this interview back in the late 70’s. The Bee Gees have been one of my favorite singing groups of all time. I listen to them daily, while still collecting their music memorabilia. Thanks again for posting this and shortly after this interview was their tv special back in November of 1978 when they promoted one of their greatest albums, Spirits Having Flown.

@@vampyre4me I agree with everything you said here and in your other post. There was so much more to our beautiful Robin than most people knew. He was an amazing, intelligent, caring, super sweet man. His voice was unique and so beautiful. He sang from his heart, and we could feel the emotion he sang with. He could make you smile, laugh or cry with that incredible voice of his. He had a way of pulling on your heartstrings. Love him more than I can express.. And I feel like Robin is still around too. I like that feeling.
This is a treasure to find this interview. I really enjoy watching them. Both are great, funny and just fascinating. They are articulate, well mannered. Nowadays it is all trash talking.

Andy was going to become the 4th BeeGee, but he passed. People forget, there were 5 Bee Gees, another guitarist and drummer. Everyone on here is gushing over Robin, while cute, Barry is FINE! Whew!
