Honestly, I want a book series about her. Almost burned at the stake, fought the Inquisition and trusted by Guilliman with an original copy of leticio divinitatus authored by Lorgar himself (and trusted with the knowledge that Lorgar wrote it). I know she is a Rogue Trader but, even with that status I would be concerned how much a Primarch was confiding in me. That is all kinds of power showing vulnerability. The wrong type of person would try to take advantage of that and you could be a liability.
when that much power shows you vulnerability, you'd better be counting your life in the span of minutes and seconds. Nobody with that much Clout shares their inner-world without having a price to pay for it.
Yassili is more than a Rogue Trader, she's part of the Logos Historica (may be misremembering the specific latin), an organization of scribes, historians and anthropologists made up of atheists and other apostates that stand up to ecclesiarchy dogma. Guilliman recruits them to work on research, such as helping him write a book on the true history of the imperium, and special missions he can't trust religious inquisitors to do properly. For instance the mission he gave to Yassili and the context of this conversation was to uncover a 9000 year old original collectors edition of the Book of Lorgar. He does drop a lot of truth bombs on her all at once, however considering the main thing he admits is directly related to her work and the only thing stopping him being honest with everyone all the time is that his information would spark a civil war it makes sense he'd be so candid with a person he specifically selected to be a rationalist about things like this.
One of Papa Smurfs biggest fears is that one day, it doesn't really matter if he is still alive or dead, people could warship him as an god. That would be than an glorious day for the Word Bearers. So people treating him with respect but still as an mortal is an little bit of hope for him.

I wonder if the loyal primarchs embrace more of their souls warp origins, will they grow stronger? From prayer, beliefe and worship, along with humanity doing things that the loyal primarchs specialize in or represent. Like with Vulkan, if he embraces the warp more he would grow stronger and even more if people create and craft items. Obviously not to the master degree Vulkan does.
Rogue traders are just a diffrent breed. and none of them are alike. Some are monstrous psychopaths. some a zealous fanatics. others dogmatic militarists. and then there are some who are goofy adventurers.
