I purchased the dongle at Microcenter. Although its not the Gigaware brand, it is the same dongle type. Problem is when I go to the audio settings the headset option doesn't recognize that a "headset" is connected and keeps output to headphones faded out.

Just picked up the game from Amazon can you tell me more about Aux cord that plugs into amp and the name of that little converter that gets plugged in to ps4 I’m guessing best by or guitar center ? Other questions for you do I need audio cables going from ps4 to tv or to my boss speaker ? Thank you any little bit of info helps

I would’ve loved to have seen the entire chain.. like what does the guitar link to? How did you hook the amp to that dongle? It’s very very vague. I’d like to see it start to finish, all connections instead of assuming I had already done parts of this myself. I’m trying to see it fully done so I can decide if I want to buy the kit.

It could be my TV that's helping, but I got it yesterday, I got a ps4 slim for Christmas. I plugged in, calibrated, and have completed my first 2 lessons with absolutely no lag. NONE. The TV is a 4k, which I got just after thanksgiving. But...it works, with no lag

The PS4 is not picking up the digital to analog adapter and is not giving the option to switch the chat to all. Any suggestions?

I actually went to options menu and in that menu you can turn off the lag . The lag correction is in the options menu under difficulty lag correction. When I did that I had no lag any more. That can be done on all platforms. And you don't need extras to plug into a console for correcting lag.

Is it possible plugging the 3.5 mm cable on PS4 joystick instead of plugging that dongle on PS4?

This is bull. You dont need more DAC when tv and sound systems have them built in. All you do is add more processing which will cause more lag. Just set tv spund to game mode and adjust by going to rocksmith options visual settings. You wont eliminate all lag but the game will be playable and lag will be minimal. Unless you're a twitcher who notices a millisecond lag!
