She was so familiar but I couldn't figure out where I saw her before...then it hit me, Serenity! If someone hasn't watched it then I highly recommend it! Not only is the film great but the TV show it's based on was also great! Enjoy!
Dr. Tyson has had his own show for YEARS and is a great public speaker (check RU-vid for some of his lectures) and Bill Nye IS actually a professional actor. He worked as an engineer at Boeing for years and years before he started getting involved in TV and eventually producing, writing and starring in the show that made him famous I really, really want to see one of his Boeing training videos...
Well... I did add "explicitly" which makes it a valid point as historians still got it right in my opinion according to what they were able to see with the same logical definition. :^)
i watched all of sg1, and i cannot remember this scene :| and i recognized armin shimmerman when he first appeared, WITHOUT the ferengi makeup.... is it from atlantis?
Well... I did score A+ mainly throughout school, especially to create 3D Graphic Animations and even taught my professors how to make the imaging much more life-like, but that's besides the point. Simply put, there are still a whole lot of people who don't quite understand Einstein, either... and besides... I prefer to live by the scholar standard dictionary. :^)
It's a dwarf planet.. it still holds the term "planet" - It just has nothing in common with the 8 main planets. There are all sorts of chunks of rock and ice of all different shapes and sizes orbiting the sun.. if you consider Pluto a planet, you must also consider all of those to be planets. But you'd end up saying that our solar system has a couple million planets. Where do you draw the line? It's far more practical to put Pluto into it's own class.
no because then every icy body around pluto, including ones even larger than pluto, would have to be considered planets also then we'd have 100's of planets most of which being half ice chunks
Yeah the thing was: the whole Stargate program (and before that Area 51 was it?) was secret. McKay DID save their (and everyones) asses all the time, but nobody knows! And nobody knows, why he's too busy to actually publish some papers. ^^ Anyway awesome clip. I don't know if I've seen that on TV. You just took an already discovered planet and just changed it's name. Like a bully picking on the little guy. and many others called planets are very much the same, but instead of them being frozen... they are gases. so what exactly is it the point you're trying make? :^)
