There is something VERY special about Roger Fisher and his musicianship. Serious. i play,myself. 25plus years. I've seen alot..but I've yet to see or hear anyone connected to the notes like Rog is. They are his notes. Few can say that. It's deeper than quoting a phrase from a bluesman you like (I won't name names..but there is a ton). It's such a deeper connection. He is at the root. I think that is why he was soooo instrumental in Heart's best work. He informed those songs. They were very good songs, but he colored them in and made them unforgettable. he has newer work..and what I've heard is excellent. But, just like with Heart...you have to have some bravery in your ears.....Rog isn't compromising then or now.
