An Alliance Rogue attempts to capture the Horde flag. Can he succeed? (Just a note: I do NOT own the scenes used in this video. It's from the movie Dungeons and Dragons.)
The DnD movie should have stayed true to the source material, and have the party meet another thief who was the identical twin brother of Snails in a tavern the next town over after his death.
Snails was a loud, horny, annoying rogue. Despite that, he knew he was screwed, but never once thought about screwing over the party, and died smiling at his friends after the adventure they had. The most accurate dnd player character put to film! X'D
I know this Movie is "Bad" but I loved this shit as a kid man. Even to this day I quote it. Anytime I see an evil faction in a video game I hear that Music score hit in my head. I don't care what anyone says in the end snails died like a fucking champion and Ridleys rage moment was the first time my kid self had shared in and experienced murderous rage. I love this Movie. Anyone who shares these feelings I see you out there and I hope you roll a NAT 20 for everything you do in life.
Through the whole movie, Snails was the worst part of the movie. Then he was cornered. Death was upon him. And he stepped forward to meet it knife in hand. At no point did he beg for his life. He didn't show Damodar anything but defiance. And when given the choice between his life and the chance for Ridley to continue his quest, he did not hesitate for a second to make the ultimate sacrifice for his best friend. Snails, let no one doubt you were loud and obnoxious. And likewise... Let no one doubt your courage.
He died a craven, whiny-ass-bitch flat character which screamed a lot as he died. He did nothing beneficial for his group throughout the entire movie and he didn't even want to be there other than to get in the way and bumble trying to steal stuff. The only movie worse than this was the Super Mario Brothers movie. Crap we get today is at least crap filled with better CGI.
The only disappointing aspect of his death was that the other "good" characters didn't die along with him. The villains were the only redeemable characters/actors, sadly.
Sham I don’t seee why everyone hated his character. Or even this movie. It’s a bit over acted but so what? It’s still a good movie and I was really upset when snails died
It's all fun and games until the comic relief buddy in your action comedy gets brutally killed, in a very serious and not-at-all-funny manner too. They don't make them like this anymore. Wayans and Payne are the best performances in the movie and I think director Courtney Solomon used them pretty effectively in their few scenes together. People forget, but Wayans was in this the same year as Requiem for a Dream, he's an incredibly gifted actor and, to his and Solomon's credit, I was genuinely upset by Snails death.
Honestly, even for the time the way Snails was killed was pretty violent(rarely did main characters die) and I thought really in the true spirit of D&D. For all the hate the movie gets it had some quality moments like that. Snails accepting his fate is another. That scene in the tomb when Ridley gets the scepter and at first he's a happy theif with his score and then he feels the draw of it's power, he sees the murals on the wall and realizes that by bringing it back, right or wrong he's going to unleash a lot of death and destruction which snaps him out of his sudden power lust. That was a good moment too. There are a lot of silly moments as well but it wasn't all bad.
6:52 This is what you get for declining to have a photo taken with me a few seconds after you said Yes, Marlon! Each time I look back at my old memory of your chilling diss, I watch your character die in this video repeatedly… 😠😡
Snails didn't really throw the scroll anywhere near the others, it was a pathetic throw in general, Damada could of easily walked over him and picked it up before they got it. Yet the film presents this scene like it's a huge awesome moment. The reaction to Snail's death....I'm sorry but it's just too over the top and hammy for me to take seriously and not laugh at. And the "You're wrong mage!" argument sequence after was just as ludicrous. I really hope the makers of the film didn't take it that seriously, like they made the whole thing this silly on purpose for everyone's amusement.
it's right, snail drop is weak, but the reason is than damodar don't spect problem for get the pergamin, he knows than snail had the pergamin, he only wants the dragon eye, so he is relax and don't worry
