❤So well said. She's gorgeous but how sad, how unnecessary! May I recommend TAKIS SHELTER (he has 500 rescue dogs) & JUTTA SHELTER since you obviously are a fellow dog 🐕 lover. Every view helps all these incredible men who devote their lives to saving dogs. Have a great day 🇨🇦👍
Yet ANOTHER fantastic rescue by Lee and all his staff at the Asher house, she's beautiful and has landed on her three feet, sending blessings from England.
Rest in Peace, Roo.❤❤❤ She may be gone, but she will truly never be forgotten... For the brief time she was at The Asher House sanctuary, I've fallen in love with her immensely. I feel very joyous & glad to know that Roo's last days were among Lee, ppl (staffs & fans) as well as surrounded by her many animal siblings who abundantly LOVE & ADORE HER above & beyond. I'll forever love & miss Roo tremendously... God bless Roo, a beautiful angel.❤🙏❤
Your comment was so Heartwarming and Beautiful about Sweet Roo passing - It's so very sad what happened to her - so thankful Roo had the love of Lee, his team, and the Asher Pack - the entire Pack and other dogs in Oregon are in my loving thoughts and prayers during this terrible medical emergency - sending my heartfelt sympathy to Lee and his team.
I am so incredibly sorry you lost Roo. My cat is battling calicivirus right now and the boarding facility where I had her lied to me and had a break out of panleukopenia while she was there. I’m praying for all your dogs and my kitty💙🙏💙
Roo was so beautiful and sweet. So sad and heartbreaking to hear of her passing. I am glad she was in a safe , happy place with lots of love for the last few months of her life.
Roo gives you the insight into how cruel some people can be, but to all odds she wanted to live and walk again. Her calmness accepting her fate is an inspiration to all who live with disability. It shows that we have to treat them with respect and protect them from cruelty. Such a sweet dog...just the right place at Asher House to have a new, happy life👍🙏🐾💖....💞🇭🇺
Too has the sweetest eyes. You can see how gentle and loving she is. She totally just hit the jackpot and doesn’t even know the adventures she is about to have 🥰❤️🥰❤️
Just had to come back to see Roo and all she overcame at the Asher house in the few short months she was there. I'm so sorry she didn't have longer with you and the pack, Lee.
They've only just arrived home and when she hears him say her name, she turns to look at him, tail wagging. 🥰 Dogs are so incredibly forgiving and loving! They all deserve every kindness ❤
I bet once she hangs out for a couple weeks she walk without any brace. The other dogs will help her. She’s so beautiful. I’d take her in a heartbeat. ❤️nanny
A beautiful dog has finally found her safe haven. .All's well that ends well.! She is very lucky pup. Thank you for sharing. It has made my heart sing .
She is an amazing pup, and so lucky to be with you all. I think/hope that leg will get a little stronger each day until she can walk and stand without so much effort. She's in a great place and will get lots of encouragement! ❤
Such a good Girl❤. Yep, i agree water therapy- to build her muscles, her (spine cant support her weight )without twisting it. . ouch😢... I know you'll find /seek whats best for Precious Roo .
If she is anything like my Pawnee who also has only three legs you would never know it! She runs, plays and does everything just like the other dogs I have. And recently I got 3 puppies and she absolutely loves them!!! I am so glad that I was able to get her from a husky breeder that you could tell didn't really want her. She is my biggest protector and I love her more then anything! So glad that you were able to get Roo. She is going to love it there!!! I'm just sitting here crying with the loss of Roo. She held such a special place in my heart. You will be greatly missed beautiful Roo!
Glad Roo has found a permanent home at the Asher House! 💜 I've owned a tripod cat & a dog, both were missing back legs--they did just fine. However, I notice that Roo doesn't appear to have very good strength in her lower back & the remaining leg/hind. Not sure how long ago her leg was amputated, but please work on building this with her. Its VERY, VERY important for her quality of life & longevity. 💕
Roo is such a cool girl. I adopted a Rottweiler missing her back leg and an eye after a car accident and she didn’t care. life still went on as dog usual. I Love dogs because they don’t let life things determine their happiness and daily out come.
She is beautiful. We had a tri-paw as well ... Careto could outrun almost anything. Please have her examined at least once every six months because of her back and hip. With only three legs she might go into a kind of a relieving posture that could skew her hip placement and can cause problems in the future. Careto lost his leg when he was 7 and he went over the rainbow bridge when he was 18 almost reaching his 19th bday. Here is to Roo and her new wonderful and carefree life with you and your pack at Asher House!!!
She's been through a lot poor darling. On the bright side she's now at Asher house. And has access to a huge swimming area, that will help get her muscles strong and build up her other back leg to take the full weight. That and some one on one physical therapy exercises and hopefully she won't need assistance in time to get around. And wonderful start to her new life 💖💐🙏
I hope there are going to be updates on Roo, she looks like she will be so strong, because of you. Are you still in Molalla? I had a 20 acre place on Munson Rd, plus another 20 acres with the creek running through it just down the road. I retired here in Mexico 24 years ago at the age of 40 years young and this is my home has been full time, but once upon a time we could've been neighbors, hahahahahahaha.
Roo looked kinda sad and confused when you got her but she seemed really happy when she met the pack. I was wondering how u were going to manage walking her like that with a whole pack to care for but it's clear to see you two are going to manage just fine. Beautiful she found you, and a forever home:)
She needs support she's to big to go without her forth leg it will weaken her heart and lungs fast. You are amazing looking after them all they need the love.
I am positively sure the dogs knew what happened and they told her what her new home will be liked, because she looked instantly relax and happy. and everyone checked on her legs and then a few of them kept following her, even forming a wall in front of her, almost like they are protecting her and wanting to be her body guards. The Asher house dogs really rules!
Absolutely. It's as though the dogs have imbibed Lee,s loving, caring nature, and are showing the same love and care to Roo that Lee does. Animal Magic ! 🐶♥️
