I know that roosters are super protective of their hens but I didn't know just how quickly they can go from cluck clucking around to attack mood. And I also didn't know what how powerful their spurs can be!
I'm still unclear on how such a small light bird can get that much force out of his legs. Let me know if you have any insights.

That might help. I have heard that people wear long pants to protect themselves from rooster but defiantly need more than that with this guy! Thanks,

We lost our 12 chickens to different kinds of predators before this rooster and so far we haven't lost any since he's been around. But it sure is frustrating when the animal that I have raised and cared for turns on me!
