Love the video. No music, no shenanigans, simply a pretty lady talking about her interests. ❤

Really enjoyed your video. I think of the plants you bought the hardest to care for will be the heart leaf fern, they can be a little finicky. For the Hoya, it sounds cheesy but people remember which is the princess and which is the Queen by saying "the queen wears the crown, the princess wears the gown." So if there's white on the edges, like where a crown would be, that's the queen. So then the leaf is white on the inside with a green edge that's the "gown," and that's the princess. (I have Princess but honestly think queen is prettier when it's grown out and trailing everywhere!). Beautiful coloring on your ring of fire. Enjoy your new plants!

Hi... enjoyed your video. Love seeing newbies and the look on their faces when they start their plant journey. I have (or have had) every plant that you unboxed, but my Tradescantia Nanouk and my Heartleaf Fern have gone to plant heaven. The Nanouk became very leggy because I didn't provide it with enough light and I didn't like it anymore. I didn't feel up to propagating and starting from scratch and just keeping small pots of it, so I gave it away. The Heart Fern was a thorn in my side. Before I ordered it, (3 times), I should have done better research on it. I read later that it needs male and female fronds in order to give you new leaves. They say that you can tell by the shape of the leaves if you have both (female rounded hearts and male elongated hearts, I think). Since I ordered mine and didn't see them in person, I kept getting plants with just male leaves, so no new growth. If I see it someday in my area with BOTH leaf shapes, I may try again. Hope your plants ALL thrive for you!!!

thank you for the tips! I’ll have to look at my heartleaf fern and see if it’s female and male. both the fern and the nanouk have been hard to maintain so hopefully they thrive this time. I actually was able to successfully propagate a small cutting of the nanouk in a small glass tube and I plan to pot it sometime soon. the roots have grown very well. I appreciate you watching my video ☺️

Great plants! For the Heartleaf Fern, you may want to try a self-watering pot. I make my own diy versions to save money. But since it needs a lot of water and consist moisture, self-watering is usually the best way to go.

Hi. Love your plant picks. Get a razor (cut the boxes open) and scissors so you can (cut the rubber bands) without the possibility of damaging your plants. By the way, where is this plant store, I can’t find it.

@@patriciajackson5414 I’m not sure if they have a physical location. this is my first time ordering from them. I looked at their website and it seems like you can only purchase online. another plant shop that I love ordering from is Pistils Nursery! They have physical locations in Oregon, where they are based.

that’s weird that the link above doesn’t work. try typing “hey rooted” in the search engine and it should bring up their website as one of the first search results.
