We love Coniston old man, it's a cracking mountain and easy to achieve (with ALOT of effort).

From Low Nest the Old Man of Coniston is only 45 minutes to an hours drive away. So perfectly doable for anybody visiting. You can also get the bus and change at Ambleside.
