Thank you SO much Rachel. I have done this with paper and is works so well.It didnot cross my mind to use fabric now for this book!! Thank you for showing us how to do the double page pages for our stitch book. I have found an old book with a 3inch spine , cut my lengths of fabric and folded them so am ready to move on, now i feel more confident about my book. I dont work very well with that side of the brain!!! Many years ago i joined, TAST, Take A Stitch on Tuesday, and made about 12 mandalas on fabric each using a different embroidery stitch to decorate. I just kept them in a box all this time but NOW i can use them in my book with all the new stitchery we are doing here, so a double sided page will work well and they will have found a special place to be displayed, thanks to you. I just found this video and it is perfect for the vintage linen and lace project I have been planning. I know enough now to begin my project! Cannot wait to see how to attach the pages to the spine…I want to do some double page spreads and need to contemplate the attachment process a bit. Thank you SO much for demonstrating your process. Greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to using this technique with my pieces. Thank you for such a detailed video, right down to the pressing of the accordian backing. I had seen the one where you put in the blocks others had done for you on a challenge, but this video I liked even better, as I don't want to have to add fabrics along the edge, but want a nice "fit." Great instructions! Thanks so much. TOTALLY enjoying the slow stitching tutorials/challenge!

Hi Rachel! Great video, great creating, & great links in the description box too! Good job on teaching us how to use this accordion style method for our book pages! It seems a little "tricky" to do. I don't have to decide how to do mine just yet. I will just take a "little think" on it for a while before choosing. Thank you Rachel for taking the time from your busy schedule to complete this project with all of us! I think that we are all really enjoying this stitching project very much! We probably couldn't do it without your help! You are really appreciated Rachel! We do love ya! Happy Creating! Samantha P.S. Now I'm off to watch your "EP 13, Part 2" & this week of Sarah's videos?

Oh Rachel! So sorry you had technical difficulties. I think that would ruin my whole day! So I’m glad to see that you’re back, just as chipper as ever! I’m still struggling to learn the new stitches. I have had to start over several times when I’ve just done a terribly blodgy (or blodgie?!) job. I look forward to being able to graduate to the actual monthly blocks, I think I will have more fun then! Thanks so much for taking your time & showing just a portion of the process each time! I’m pretty overwhelmed & trying not to feel dejected about my progress. How difficult can it be to make a row of stitches?! Haha! Stay healthy & see you next time!

Very helpful!!! Thank you. I am incorporating larger pieces I have previously stitiched in my fabric book. Two are large older cross stitch pieces, so i am planning to "fold" them over my page edges to get some on two page layouts without cutting through the stitching. I think your format would work well for me.

This is cool! I'm still deciding whether I want to do the accordian style or not. I will probably wait and see how Sarah is doing hers and then decide. It looks as if the pages are already "finished" on the right edge with the accordian fold? I'm leaning to this method at the moment. Something new for me as well.
