Are some folk here seriously saying Wilshire is a better player than Keane was? Those who are stating that are either too young to remember keane properly or just trolling. Just compare what Keane had achieved by Wilshire's age. The strength, the vision, the touch of Keane was pure class plus he was utterly fearless.
No simpathy ore hate for none of them. Injuries ruined Jack Willshere's carrier, at 19 years old he was the best player vs Barcelona, that guy was unbelievable. And Pirlo is the most overrated italian player, when AcMilan were in bad days Pirlo was nothing, he went in Juve to look good. Yess he was a good passer but nothing more. So Jack would be far better then Pirlo if it wasnt for injuries, and Capello knows nothing in football thats why he is in Arabia ore wherever he is right now.

That is total bollocks. Jack Wilshere is THE most overrated player during the 40 years I've been following football. I'm in agreement with Roy Keane. He had 200 appearances for 4 clubs over 12 years. I know he was injured every other week but did play many games. During those 12 years as a creative/attacking midfielder he scored 8 goals. Eight, yes only 8 goals. Sol Campbell scored more. I will also mention being photographed smoking twice didn't help. No sorry, he's a liabilty. That's why he can't get a contract. WASTE OF SPACE.
Wiltshire, phenomenally overrated and a terrible attitude. Did extremely well as youngster against a superb Barcelona and quite a few other games. Just was never going to meet the excessive level of hype. Therefore. Absolutely Over Rated!!!!!

@@michadunski472 Firstly, creative/attacking midfielder is the opposite of a defensive/holding midfielder. Very simple, the clue is in the words. Secondly, I've always said he has built a reputation on the back of one great goal and one great performance. I would go further than Keane and say more like well below average player. Wildly overrated. Thirdly, his injuries have probably not helped his performances however nor has the cigarettes and fighting either. A few incidents of smoking and drinking/fighting/abusing people shows he wasn't doing the correct things to help his own cause. Fourthly, why do you suppose he can't get a contract? He isn't he wanted by any club? He is available for free!

Aaron Kidd Not true. He was rated when he broke out to the first team in 2010-11 season. Look at his performance against Barcelona. Held his own against Xavi and Iniesta. Then he hurt his ankle and had a problem with it every year. He was the shadow of the player he was then.

He had one incredible season at the age of 18 where he competed against the best in the world which is proof of his world class potential. It was not 2 or 3 games when they 2-3 goals up either, but the entire season at crucial moments he would find a key pass or dribble through and find space in key situations. This was in his first first team season where he outperformed the likes of Fabregas and Nasri in their absolute prime. And that was only it, potential. He did not fulfill his potential. Thus he never became the player he was destined to be. Could be because of injuries, his own fault, it doesn't really matter. I don't think you or Keane do not understand what overrated means since he was never rated as a great player to begin with. He was not rated as world class ever. People only talked about his potential. He was rated as a talented player who never fulfilled his potential. Let me give you an example of what overrated means. Delle Alli is overrated because pundits consider him world class which he clearly isn't. He's very good, but you can't compare him to players like De Bruyne or Hazard who are actually world class.
