I own 3 Enfields. My problem is - I buy a particular model and love it. A year later a new model (that I love) gets released. I get very tempted to buy it. Some time later yet another Enfield is released that I also love. Do you see my problem?
Tradition and Quality, finish and value are back again in a company that cares about building motorcycles for people who are looking for something they can afford and put their faith in. I like the way this bike looks and performs. It's a winner for me.
Fun fact: Eicher Motors (Company owning RE brand) made all of the RE employees to ride bikes for their commutes and weekends just to make them get a feel of owning, maintaining and riding a motorcycle. RE's quality and engineering has just taken off from there. The new Himalayan 450 is just so damn good
Hadn't really noticed this bike until I walked into my local dealership last week for a brew and a chat. Now I'm seeing them all over RU-vid. 😄 Nice review, Tomboy. 👍
You are one lucky girl, already riding the Shotgun. Here we’still waiting and waiting… It’ a marvelous bike, reminding me the old beauties from the 30 and 40’s. Makes me think of the K series, except the engine.
I think it is the best looking RE 650. My brother spent an other grand to get his interceptor to look the way he wanted when the Shotgun is already there. Great review. Not many reviewers look at the whole riding experience like you.
The SG650 shotgun consept was one incredible fine looking motorcycle. Too bad the production model doesn't look like that. If they made the consept bike, I would buy it in a heartbeat, it was simply gorgeous.
I think RE have nailed it (again!) with this bobber. I haven't checked the colours available but have to say I'm a sucker for blue! And this is possibly tomboy's best bike review to date. Pleasure to watch and gives me a real idea about the bike. What a cool channel. :)
Love the Shotgun so much, but also 100% love my SM 650 Astral Black with black solo seat finisher. (Royal Enfield Barend Mirrors as well!! Must have!) Only wish I could maybe add the Shotgun seat to my Super Meteor! The floating Bobber seat looks just so awesome! Having said that, how could I not resist a test ride! Who knows what the outcome might be! Beautiful bike! Great video!
@@benjamin.f.b. Cheers! May be the challenge once removing the Super Meteor 650 standard riders seat is that it seems to be protecting relays etc. And access to them. I need to see maybe....🤔 (Thinking out loud) How on the Shotgun they are protecting the insides under the seat... Hence thinking it may not be a plug and play aftermarket part seat for the SM. Not a game changer... Curious 'if'. I am expecting that there will be some Super Meteor owners wondering if the Shotgun mid controls will fit or be available for Super Meteor. For that I sit in-between. The SM forward controls in my opinion are in between mid and full forward controls. I enjoy where they are yet understand and do have moments I think mid controls in commuting would be accommodating.
Great review , always love that you give plenty of time to the feel and the look of the bike . The ride outs are great , too and I particularly like how you use different camera angles to all round effect.. One of your best …
Well, that's the strength of Indian 🇮🇳Bike RE. Absolutely unparalleled. The Exhaust sound, perhaps, gets customised as per other country's norms because here in India, Which is a home to RE Bikes, the T-H-U-G - T-H-U-G -T-H-U-G 💨💨 sound is just an emotion. No wonder, here in India, Royal Enfield says " BUILT IT LIKE A GUN ". 🔥 Impressive & comprehensive review of RE.
@@sangeethnandakumar2534 I just wrote it one time and you consider that as a spamming? Seems like vocabulary wasn't your best game ever. Besides, if you're ashamed of your own country's achievement, Get a life, bud. Not my headache.

New subscriber here. This is the first video of hers that Ive watched. Very informative!! RE have really come a long way. Cant wait to test ride the Shotgun and Super Meteor. She has alot more videos I would like to see.
Great vlog, certainly the shogun looks like a great bike. As you say the quality of the bikes are getting better. You'd make a great bike salesperson as you have a feel and a passion. 💖💖
Great review, definitely a worth subscriber❤. As a Indian, I'm so glad, Siddhartha, the CEO of the company saved this Indian motorcycle brand from shutdown a decade ago. Now Royal Enfield presence is not just only in india but the whole world. I always amazed how royal Enfield choose so classy name for their bikes, like Hunter, Meteor, Thunderbird, Himalayan, Interceptor, Continental GT, Bullet and now Shot Gun.❤ Made like a gun, goes like a bullet.
Well Dee you have most definitely put the cat among the pigeons with this one ,,,its a beautiful bike and I was just looking at a Sportster 1200 C ,now I need to look again ,,,first thing I would do is ,lose the black exhaust and a different color not blue ,but I love it I also love the passenger seat / carrier.
the sheet metal grey option looks bueno. still prefer the look of the continental GT, but if the local dealer carries these out here i'm going to take a look in person. great vid!
They're a good bike for the money, I was tempted by one so much, but a bit small for me after trying, I'm quite tall. Will keep saving pennies for the Indian Chief Dark horse 😁
Love this lady and all her vids, her accent has mememerised ,could watch and listern to you for hours, the way you describe and give you4 opions are great
Tomboy You did it again. Another fantastic review! I love the color of that bike and I agree it looks nice without the pillion seat and rack. It looks very "Bobberish" ish, ish. I love what Royal Enfield are doing with styling. They have so many choices now and variations compared to just 2 years ago. You look perfect on it! I love your riding skills, the enthusiasm you have, and your love of motorcycles! To me, you make some of the best honest motorcycle impression videos on the internet. I wish every woman was like you! After watching this wonderful video, I think Triumph needs a "Bobber" version of the Speed 400. What do you think? I think it would be a sellout bike! Fantastic video Lady D! 🌹 Ride SAFE and BE safe! 👍👍
Interesting video to watch. I plan to have a test ride on this bike in a few months 👍 Not as good music as in the chopper build video 😂. It was not bad but did not reach that same high level 😁
Good review. Interested to hear a comparison with Super Meteor, rear suspension, handling, etc. I thought you looked almost too big for this bike at 5 9 … unless you have a super long torso.
Nice bike, love both the style and the colour, they look good and match well. But, the sound definately needs some work done on it! But other than that, it's certainly one that I would consider buying, and probably would, if there was any money left, after buying the last two bikes you have reviewed..., both of which I feel I need to have. So, with my two, this one, and the last two you've reviewed, that makes five, and I only have room for one in my garage. Oh, just remembered, I need a Suzi Katana as well. That means, first I need a large Barn to store them all... oh why is life so expensive and so short? If you help me rob a bank, i'll let you share the Barn... lol !!
super cool looking bike I love it I would probably take 0ff the 650 sticker I know it's big for royal infield but it's nothing to brag aboutI have an iron I told you before but I don't know if you remember who I am I just like to put around town that bike looks sweet as long as they take off faster than most cars I'm good.
I was going to buy a triumph Bobber, but bought a Speedmaster....but went off it because it was too flashy and chromey, and attracted too much attention...I think a Shotgun in Black would look good
Yesterday I finally got to test ride a RE 650 Super Meteor and it was a fabulous motorcycle!!! I have 2 motorcycles now if I had the room for one more, the Super Meteor would be it.
Thanks for the well articulated review! Your accent seem very intercontinental. I really can’t pin it down. A bit of South African maybe? Hi from Australia 🇦🇺
Replace that oddly awkward rear mudguard with the one from the Super Meteor or an enlarged one from the Classic 350, and you have a classy ride. That mudguard just bothers me
Great review (and love the accent!) but the torque number displayed on screen (8 min and 16 seconds into the video) is incorrect... Should be 52.3nm not 32nm. Nevertheless, I have just subscribed and given you one of these 👍😉
You call it brilliant I think you're brilliant the way you can navigate that phone! I wish the controls we're arranged differently so that the speedometer was right in the middle. It's got the most character then the interceptor you say, good.🏁
I watched this review straight after watching the Norton review where the engine clattering was awful compared to the RE and I felt you were just being polite to the Norton, but why did RE make the tripper so small why not make it the same size as the speedo it would look much better and be more visible
Royal Enfield is best for off roading raiders ❤....bcoz it's so soomth in plain way and also for mountains area special design ( royal Enfield himayan) ❤
