You'll have to wait a long time. And the prices will not please you. The 5090 will be released first and will cost £2999, it will be 40-50% faster than the 4090. Then the 5080 will come out at a price of 1499 pounds; in terms of performance, the 5080 will be = 4090. And only in 2025 they will release 5070 and 5060. 5070 will cost 899 pounds and in terms of performance 5070 = 4080 super. The 5060 will cost $499 and perform like the 4070 super. Are you very happy about these prices? Huang said, "I don't sell video cards anymore. I sell performance." And also don’t forget that AMD will not produce top-end video cards and their future 8800XT = 7900XTX. That is, the 5080 and 5090 will have no competitors. And the prices of 1499 and 2999 respectively are very likely prices.
@@youtubeitsmorons 5090 is rumored at 1999, 2999 is ur ass, the 5080 is rumored for 999 as well, 5070 is going back to 499 and 5060 the usual 249, stop lying as spreading missleading info
I had a 5-6% hit in framerate when aggressively undervolting/underclocking my 3090, and it's just sipping 230W on full load (compared to its 370W stock power limit). Running 1650MHz@750mV on the core and a -200MHz VRAM clock offset. It can do a lot better than those power consumption numbers
I wouldn't touch a used 3090 due to it having dual-sided VRAM which runs hot AF. Although, I have the EVGA FTW3 3090 to be fair they did a good job with that card.... but I also have a TUF 4070ti Super and it runs way, way cooler.
Several 3090 projects had flow-through coolers and thermal pads to use the backplate to assist with cooling. Those do perform pretty well. My 3090 is all well and alive after 18 months of 24/7 ETH mining with barely any mods (it just has some raspberry pi heatsinks glued to the backplate directly on top of the VRAM modules), plus 2 years of gaming. It's not a great model either (it's the Gigabyte 3090 Turbo, which on top of the shitty blower-style cooler still had pretty bad thermal pads as all Gigabyte cards do), and never has been repasted. After 3.5 years it's starting to show some signs of wear on the thermal side (probably because the paste has dried out -- GPU Hotspot is at 20-25C higher than the core temp), so I ordered some thermal putty and PTM7950 for the core. The VRAM still does reasonably fine with the blower cooler + decent case airflow, though.
@@lucaterranova9321y lo más bueno es el corto de cerebro éste que hizo el video en 1440p y no agregó las pruebas en 4k, que es lo que a todo el mundo le interesa. Tremendo payaso 😂.
The people selling 3090s on facebook marketplace for more then a 4070 ti. Also raytracing is superior on the 4970 ti it can do raytracing while not taking a drastic hit on fps.
I own both as well.... The EVGA FTW3 and an MSI Suprim. EVGA did a decent job with their FTW3 3090, but the cooler on the Suprim is just a couple leagues higher. I don't think I've ever seen the Hot Spot or VRAM temps hit 70c, whereas these temps are nearly at 80c with the EVGA card. I also have the TUF 4070ti Super, and it runs cool at 30% fan speeds.
which is better for 4k gaming a 3080ti or a 4070 super , every where I see people keep saying that the 3080ti is better for 4k due to the 384-bit memory , is it true ?
Power and Heat reduction w/ the 4000 series was also a nice added bonus. I'm a bit skeptical we are going to see such a leap in performance w/ 5000 as we saw from 3000 to 4000 but I guess we'll see. I kinda felt the 4090 was the next 1080 Ti outside of the price of coarse.
3090 and 3090 ti were both scams. Negligable performance uplift and 12 gigabytes of extra vram for 300-800 dollars more. Sure, they weren't exactly "made with gamers in mind" but nvidia could 100% add more performance, they just maximized profit (which I can respect but still)
@@m8x425well choosing 3080ti instead of 3080 was reasonable because of those 10 only gb vram. Which was not enough. But 3090/3090ti - ti version wins only if it costs the same as the original 3090 or just a little bit more
no way this is the performance of a 3090, i use a 3090 on cyberpunk with these same exact settings and I'm like 10 fps lower, im using a 5800x so doubt im bottlenecked
